Myrichthys maculosus
Sometimes known as the "Tiger snake eel" or "Ocellate snake eel" Myrichthys maculosus is s a species of snake eel (Ophichthidae) that is distributed throughout the Indo-West Pacific. M. maculosus typically inhabits reef flats, lagoons, and seaward reefs. Tiger snake eels are typically active at night, and spend their days buried in sand.
