football or music indeed
hi everyone i spent approximately several months researching the history & practice of queer reading and obsessively rewatching season 1 of riverdale in order to create my magnum opus of unhingedness: a 20-minute video essay talking about why queer reading is a survival mechanism and reading jughead’s storylines as metaphors for queer and trans life! i’ve never made a video essay before so i’m really excited to hear what you think.
jughead: *surprised that his book has been categorized as YA* jughead's book: I'm more of a scrawny-looking nerd, for lack of a better description. I have medium length brown hair, which normally goes unbrushed for weeks on end. You can't hold it against me, I'm a heterosexual teenage boy. I have green eyes — imagine a green like the Lock Ness Monster, swimming deep beneath the water's surface. If you catch me on a good day, I'm usually wearing a graphic tee with a large "V" on it, black skinny jeans, and a worn-down flannel. Oh, and my signature beanie that's shaped like a crown. You'll never see me without it.
everyone is obsessed with riverdale but some people are not brave enough to admit it
my roommate started making riverdale memes despite knowing next to nothing about the show and this is genuinely maybe the funniest thing ive ever seen
new video essay just dropped! alternate title: How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love the Longcon
