What sucks about dating is that you let yourself open up. You find someone who you think might fit, you start to like them, you expose yourself to them (spiritually, mentally, sometimes both) and then something happens and you realize that nothing might be there afterall. You realize that even though it was just dating that you gave them time & attention, and in the process let your safety shield down a bit. You realize that now someone else knows something about you, now someone else has had a kiss from you, now you have to lose that good feeling about them that you were starting to feel and now you realize you took time out of your life that you cannot get back with someone who read the cover, read a few chapters, and then decided to close the book without finishing it. Last night was such a great night! Being back in Austin always makes me happy and is such a nice getaway for a flower child. Hippie love was in the air the whole time and continued while I saw modsun! Such an amazing artist and so positive!! I wait till the day that I can do the same and let me message of love, positivity, and faith in oneself carry me around the globe. Such a great night...I feel recharged.

Final thoughts on my 21st year...
-I should have started trying earlier
-Not every friendship is going to last forever, if one ends just thank them for what they taught you and continue on
-Always remember those who have seen you at your worst and continue to be around, because those are the ones who really don't care what you do rather care about how you do it.
-"Never judge a book by its cover"
-Hard work pays off in due time, no work pays off never.
-At the end of the day you are the one that chooses to go right when you should have gone left...don't pray to a "god" or a higher authority if you're the one making the decision, PRAY TO YOURSELF because you're your own god.
-A smile can make their day and your day
-Take pictures, because our obsession with instagram is the same as their obsession with a video camera.
-Love yourself, be nice to yourself, trust yourself.

When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.
