When my sister was in second grade she decided that she would tell her teacher that we have a pet cat that sleeps on the kitchen counter and that my mom stabs it with spoons. The teacher was really scared of my family and later in the year when my sister brought home all of her class work every single thing was written about a cat named Saraphina who has scars all over her back from being stabbed with spoons. My mom tried to explain to the teacher that my sister made it all up but she didn't believe us and to this day is scared of my mom.
