This was a sequence from book two of a two part doujinshi story. I was lucky enough to get both books, though at the time I did not realize one was a direct continuation of the other...I don’t think I even bought them at the same time, so feel lucky I have the full story.
It was a bit trippy, and the first book had a huge section devoted to how to reach the A ending in the game, cause the doujin author felt you should not read her story without having seen the A ending route of the game as the story takes place shortly after it.
THe first story, its focus was on Mystina, on feeling like she is living in a dream, and how she has feelings for Lezard, the man who killed her. He came to Asgard, so they were working together to solve the mystery of what was afflicting Lenneth, and thus her mood was affecting all the realms. Mystina actually tried to kiss a sleeping Lezard, who barely reacted, which angered her further. TO which he replied, it is only natural for you to be attracted to me, when I have something the rest of you don’t. (meaning the rest of the people of the realms had all been recreated by Lenneth, while he was still his same self.)
Book two continued, and was more a focus on Lucian and Lenneth, with Mystina and Lezard in the background for much of it. However, the author’s note in the afterword, seems to imply Lezard had something to do with Lenneth killing the recreated Lucian....though I guess she(or he!) couldn’t quite figure out how to convey it in the drawn story...
All in all a good two part series. The character files in book one were fun to read, as these books were made in 2000, long before VP Silmeria came about, so it was fun to see the author’s impressions and guessing at what a future game might show.
