Happy Birthday, Emily!
I know. Posting like this and blowing up her spot is the cheesiest thing ever, but I couldn’t help it. Today, @mythical-linkle is a year older! I can’t remember how long I’ve known her. I’m not good with dates. But I do know that this is where it all started. Long before I was thefrenchmaidoutfit, I was just a stalker on her blog. I didn’t even have an account, so I had to manually check her blog for updates. Every time she posted a fic, I was so excited! And every time I got an update about her or her dog (omg Maggie bby ily), I jumped for joy. Eventually, I reached out to her though anon and a while after that, asked for her email like a creep. Then, we started talking about our common (and not common) interests and ourselves. Emily introduced me to Hozier. She talks my ear off about lads what might as well be on the daily. She listens to me bitch and complains when I have to, and we have the most fun movie nights. We have fun writing together, and stalking one another on the ITNOL docs. There’s still so much I don’t know about her, and I’d be happy to spend the rest of my life being friends with her and figuring it out.
She’s one of the smartest, funniest, most caring, loving, giving people I’ve ever met. She deserves the world and I hope she gets it.
This isn’t the longest or the sappiest or the most well-written post, but I hope it means just as much all the same. Go give her all your well wishes. She deserves them.
