Another "diplomatic" meeting with a bunch of royals talking boring circles around each other. Shuri was usually adamant about not going to these things, making up any excuse she could to be in her lab and away from the pomp and circumstance. But Queen Ramonda was determined for all members of the royal family to be there, especially when it came to talks with royals from an entirely different realm. Though they called themselves "gods," Shuri already labelled them as aliens in her mind.
She stood next to her mother and brother, hands folded in front of her, as their guests strode towards them from the landing pad where one of the Wakandan jets had just dropped them off. She bit down hard on her lip at the sight of Loki; never met him in person, but there was news of his misgivings. If she had a say, she would have them tossed into a Wakandan prison and let them rot. But she was not the leader of Wakanda. Not yet, anyway.
If she was lucky, not ever.
"Welcome." Queen Ramonda greeted her guests with a gesture of open arms. "I trust your flight was comfortable?"
Shuri's eyes fell on the youngest of the five; she looked nothing like her parents. The randomness of genes or something else entirely? Either way, she tucked the science questions to the back of her mind and nodded out of respect.
