KamiJirou Week Day 2: Glow
If there was ever a mythical creatures au, I can imagine Kaminari as a very mischievous storm spirit (the kind that would put rain clouds over people he feels like smiting).
Jirou would be a siren. I’m following the lore in Siren’s Lament (not sponsored) where sirens are humans who gave up their memories to forget their broken hearts and in turn, sing to lure other heartbroken humans in order to have a second chance at a human life. Jirou doesn’t play by those rules though, knowing that if her past love went so horribly it drove her to this lifestyle, why try again? If life chose to make her a creature of darkness, so shall it be. Kaminari however has other plans when he hears her singing to herself. He’s never seen a siren like this one and for some reason, she has no desire to chase after the glow of the heart broken, preferring to run away from it.
As a storm spirit with a huge affiliation to lighting, he wants to show her that some glows can be beautiful.
