Mythoscember Day 29 - Hippocampus

Veil nebula hippocampus!!!

Why veil nebula?

Because, I threw out following the mythology long ago when I did Skyrim Arvak.

And nebulas are pretty

This was one of my favorites to do back in 2019, but man those stars are so much easier in digital...

I know this isn't actually Arvak from mythology

I know that this is literally just Arvak from skyrim

But...

He's my bestest boi and I love him very much

(and also I wanted to draw a firey skeleton horse)

Mythoscember Day 22 - The Hellhounds

My boys! I feel like I say that alot, but these are my dogs, dawg

I originally did this in colored pencil and it have me hand cramps for the rest of the month, but it was worth it. This version caused a lot less pain. Still very worth it.

We love a little chaos bringer freeing its fellow hellish hounds from their bindings...

Yeah ok maybe Sha is my favorite. Maybe because it's red, maybe because I have an Egyptian creature bias. Who knows?

All i know is that these are good dogs

And you should pet them

They deserve it

Behold! A man(ticore)!

Should it have the face of a man? Sure.

Will I avoid drawing humans for as long as I live? You bet.

Sometimes you just gotta have a fun little scorpion dragon lion.

Mythoscember Day 19 - Apophis and Jormungandr

My boys!

I mean, who doesn't love a giant world-ending serpent? I know I do!

Painting this was a nightmare. Drawing it digitally was a delight. I'm so happy with this. Did it take like 5 hours? Sure. But those 5 hours were worth it

Mythoscember Day 25 - Egyptian Griffin

Merry Christmas! Is this griffin festive at all? Nope! But it is a gift...

We've got golden eagles, we've got jaguars, we've got caracals, for some reason?? I don't know what past Jade was thinking on this one, but I trust her

All I know is, if I have an opportunity to do a golden eagle design, I take it

But yeah, got another classic family dynamic because past Jade hated herself and really really wanted to try out three designs
