As a Hellenic Pagan and mythology lover, one of my favorite things to think about is the idea that Greek mythology does exist in the Killjoys universe (especially with Greece and other countries having been destroyed in the second Helium war), and that some ‘joys actually find the idea of the Greek gods walking amongst mortals and demigods protecting their villages and families from danger to be amazing. Thinking of the way a young Killjoy’s eyes would light up as they hear these stories just makes me feel happy. Different Killjoy gangs sharing their favorite myths and epics with each other would make for an interesting conversation. Cherri Cola reading into Apollo, the God of Poetry because what else would you expect from the desert’s most poetic DJ? I just like that idea, if I were a Killjoy I would tell of the myths because it was the one good thing I got out of from living in the city.

Also I can definitely imagine Fun Ghoul and Party Poison re-enacting the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice for The Girl (Poison goes for Orpheus bc I said so) because it’s one they both like. Probably gonna do a fic that’s Killjoys but make it “Hadestown”.
