This war was the perfect way to let all the bottled up aggression he felt about his brother’s death out. When the fighting had broken down to one on one skirmishes everywhere he’d gotten the chance to stab through several opponents.
He probably would have survived if he hadn’t gotten careless. The snake lady had gotten in a lucky shot and he disintegrated her before stumbling out of the fray to go rest. As much adrenaline that was running through his system, it wasn’t enough to stop the pain and his elevated heart rate only helped him bleed our faster.
He had to hold on. Just until the enemy was defeated. He had to make sure Jasmine had survived. If she was unhurt, he could die happy. He hoped it of the small group of friends he had as well.
Going through Judgement was an easy choice. Watching himself punch Octavian made him wince just a little. But over all he had been a good Roman. A good person. He was almost sure he'd get Asphodel but the circumstance of his death, fighting for the good of the Gods earned him Elysium. He wasn't sure how long he'd been dead. His first stop was his cousin Nathan’s explaining his situation and asking for a place to stay. Nathan was thrilled and of course agreed.
