The Role of the Prophet: Foreknowing

The ability to see significant events of the Clancy for the cycle years before they occur. Knows the outcome of the cycle.

Cannot be triggered by the Prophet themself (ie willing the self). They can be triggered by outside stimuli (varies on the iteration).

The first few visions are incredibly vague and unclear. But as the Prophet grows older and experiences more visions, they become clearer and more vivid.

Foreknowing messages can be solely visual, or sonically (sounds). Rarely, Prophets can experience visions containing all senses.

Sleep Token x KPDH AU Concept

Unfortunately, I am too tired to draw any of this out. But imagine this in your head.

The plot of the movie still happens. Saja Boys still die(?), unless you will it otherwise.

Sleep is a demonic entity similar to Gwi-Ma, maybe slightly less evil. Either way, Sleep has long-distance beef with Gwi-Ma for some reason, and wants Him dead. So, Sleep sends Its own band—Sleep Token—to Korea to kill the Saja Boys, and eradicate Gwi-Ma.

Sleep Token had been dormant for a while, and simply made music and performed for the masses. By Sleep’s order, however, they came to Korea with no intention to do music and win the fans over, they’re just here to beat some demon ass.

Huntrix and Saja Boys story continues, while Sleep Token stalks them from a distance; waiting for an opening.

Sleep Token has encounters with both groups at some point. Huntrix is extremely distrusting of them, not convinced that they're just here to settle some demon beef. They would get close to fighting, but ultimately they both back off. With the Saja Boys however? Full-on battle scene with a K-Metal song playing in the back. Ends in a stalemate.

Unfortunately, the Vessels don’t get a chance to kill the Saja Boys. But, Gwi-Ma might still be alive, so Sleep orders them to infiltrate His realm and take Him down. Their success is yet to be determined.

Origins of the Vessels in this AU

Vessel is a full demon, the founder of the band and born of Sleep’s image.

II and III are humans, and are fully aware of the demon they’re working with and the god they’re following.

IV is a hybrid much like Rumi. Sleep led him to the others to help him find a home.

Note: All demonic entities have their own unique kind of demons. A demon from Sleep’s realm will look different from one of Gwi-Ma’s.

In the aftermath, Huntrix and Sleep Token would cross paths again on friendlier grounds. They'd meet Vessel and realise not all (full) demons are dicks. IV and Rumi would see that they're both hybrids and chat over that. Happy ending (:

Anastasio exists (god help me)

Ok uh this is Stas: the Dead Rails OC that only exists because I joined my friends in a DR run in my Mythioso fit.

Anastasio—Transmasc—34 yrs—5’6

(pronounced ana-stah-see-oh to me)

Deadname: Anastasia Nicknames: Stas, Pistachio

Stas actually came from New England, even though Dead Rails takes place in Texas.

For a while, he always came off as a “tomboy”, and carried that over when he joined a mafia in his late teens. It was then that he decided to shed ever being a woman, and only identify himself as a man.

He spent his 20s and early 30s loyally in that mafia, having injured and killed many in his career. Wasn’t quite a highly valued member, but still of value. Even when the reports of “a strange flu” came around (june 21-23), the mafias didn’t rest. Neither did Stas. One day, however, there was an encounter he wouldn’t be able to escape.

June 25 and Stas found himself cornered by an opposing mafia family and taken for ransom. They threw him onto the cargo of their train and went off. The opposing mafia (who were operating the train) got word of the zombie plague and decided to divert the tracks to Mexico instead. Stas was still unaware of the real threat of the apocalypse, and only assumed it was a wave of flu. They realised that Stas would just be another person to maintain (loose term, they weren’t treating him all that nicely in there. and also they beat him up for the hell of it), and figured that his mafia family was long dead. So what was the point of keeping him around if there was no ransom to be gained?

Stas woke up restrained to what felt like train tracks. He could only assume. Still blindfolded, gagged, and tied up. No idea where he was, or how long he has been there. Only knew for sure that it was hot as hell, and there was a horse approaching him. The horse stopping. Feet on the ground.

“Still breathin’ there?”

So uh… yeah. Joins the rest of my friends’ DR OCs ( cough @olibird @tw1nkee28 @sillyguytm …is there anyone else?) on the escape to Mexico for the cure. He’s still shaken and damaged by his time being held in that train, but does his best to contribute to the team regardless.

Scars: Pretty bad rope burn on his wrists. also rope burn on his ankles and neck, but not as severe

and random facts—

Denys that he’s biologically female. Will swear he is a man in his pants to the grave.

Gets incredibly violent when someone mentions him being female.

Decently experienced with guns with his mafia background.

Was very caught off guard when someone called him Pistachio for the first time. Did like it a lot tho

Refuses to part with his suit and fedora. Tried to sew to back together (when he got settled on the DR train) on his own. It was… alright, but someone had to teach him how to do it better.

Felt out of place for very obvious reasons on the DR train. But I’m sure they don’t mind him (:

If he ever got his own horse, he’d name it something like… Angelino(-a) or somethin like that
