to anyone in the areas impacted by the wildfire smoke, my #1 biggest piece of advice as someone whos been dealing with wildfire smoke in the NW united states for years, is build yourself a Corsi-Rosenthal Cube

they perform as well as expensive HEPA air cleaners, and are comparatively VERY inexpensive. all you need is a box fan, 4 air filters, a piece of cardboard, and some duct tape!!!!

i think it took us maybe a half hour to put ours together, if that, and we replace the filters every 3 months. it's really made a HUGE difference, both when the air quality is bad, but also with our allergies

Also just a handy, DIY air filter in general, if a bit bulky. For a less bulky and cheaper (but also less effective) solution, you can simply tape one filter to the fan, cut a shroud if you'd like.

just FYI, this is quite literally what the climate scientists at my work who specialized in wildfire smoke impacts recommend. it works great, it's cheap to make, and it will make a noticeable impact on your air quality.

i have asthma & keep one of these running in my room perpetually. after I set it up the difference in my sleep quality was pretty much night and day. Dont waste your time on proprietary air filters; SIMPLY bust out the duct tape

The sort of darker sound of Levitate and Trench and the warmth and liveliness of camp and the firelight and tents and Banditos and then. The shot of Clancy being dragged away by her neck into the darkness, silent and with the torchlight slowly fading immediately fucking cutting Immediately into this brightly, artificially lit stage with her bright pink hair and big glittery coat and this little upbeat synth going it's so so fucking scary. Like immediately you know something's wrong. Its so genuinely nausea-inducing like Jesus Christ. It's so scary it's so fucking scary .

Because like ok I know a lot of people are of the opinion that like. The Choker performance from the Livestream would've been a better clip to pull and turn into a music video to sort of . Better communicate what was happening during scicy and like . I agree to an extent but oh my god the like. jump from Levitate into Shy Away is so fucking effective in what it does because you just Know something is so so so immediately wrong. You don't know what but Something is wrong. The bright plastic sterile colours the pop synths and the bizarreness of the whole set it's just like. I DONT KNOW I think it's incredibly effective storytelling I like it a lot . God it's so scary scaled and icy is so scary
