He doesn't hesitate to shadow exchange his way to where you are, he obviously has one of his shadows and he will not hesitate to come save you whenever you're in danger you can't handle.
He wouldn't let you go to a gate without a shadow in you so he'll be at your side whenever what dangers you couldn't face, he'll protect you from the danger.

Beru's shouting snaps him in a daze as he barely manages to dodge one of the boss' attacks due to Beru's shouting in his thoughts
Igris, take my place.
Jinwoo ordered Igris, immediately not wasting another second as he disappeared from the boss' vision, a Igris emerging instead with a group of knights along with him
"Are you alright?" Jinwoo asked, Beru emerging along with him.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks, Jinwoo." You thanked him, Beru and the rest of the shadows were already getting to work through the gate.
"It's fine, I don't want you hurt after all."
Though when you come out of the gate and go home looking too wounded, he'll have Beru to heal you and he'll apologize that he didn't protect you and give you a bath and tend to your needs (That accident will rarely happen cause he's either by your side or Igris / Beru is.)
He wouldn't notice if you were in a red gate when he's not there, so when a staff of the Hunter's Association notify him how a gate you entered turned red, he'd finish his work quickly or he'd leave it there in his desk for him to do tomorrow.
When you come out completely wounded, only 1 or 2 of the members of your team alive, he'd immediately call for a healer and heal your wounds first, he'd ask if you're still able to walk on your own and helps you walk if you say no.
He will do all of the chores so you don't have to do it yourself considering how much you've been through a red gate, hes glad that you were still alive, he wouldn't know what to do when you're dead.
He'll tend to your needs, making sure you aren't anxious about your surroundings, he'll even stay by your side till you fall asleep, he'll bring you out to a date to a place which you like the most and spoil you, he'll apologize at the end of the day because he wasn't there with you.
"How's it? Did you have fun?" Jong-in asked, leading you back to his car by as you went into his car along with him in the backseat, your form leaning on him.
"It was fun." You spoke, feeling his fingers rubbing soothing circles on your arm as the car drove off to your shared place.
"Alright, I'm also... Sorry for not being there, I could've protected you when I was with you." He apologized, pulling you close to his side as he rested his head on yours.
"No, it's completely fine, don't go worrying yourself when you still have work to do." You reassured him, leaning closer to him.
"Alright then, just be careful." And with that, his lips slowly descended to meet yours.

"Jinwoo! Where are youu?" You ran around the house, checking rooms as you stumbled upon a slightly ajar bathroom door as you slowly sneaked in, planning to surprise him, of course it always ended in a fail except this time..
"You've gotta be kidding me, Beru!" You almost smiled with how grumpy Jinwoo is because of the cat features that popped up on his body as Beru appeared, looking at what you were staring.
"M-my liege..?" Beru spoke, trying not to acknowledge the fact of the cat features and tail, as well as Jinwoo's grumpy expression.
Other shadows came out, their expressions blank but if they were able to express, their expressions might as well be shocked.
"My liege, what has happened?" Igris asked, assessing the cat ears and tail that had appeared on his liege's body
"My liege, you are so—" Beru gets cut off by Jinwoo.
"Acknowledge it and I will personally not summon you again." Jinwoo spoke, trying to remain an angry expression despite how a grumpy cat he resembled.
"Take pictures, take pictures! This is a miracle." You said, taking pictures of his grumpy self that are adorned with cat features as the shadows also took pictures because of your order.
"Stop it." He shouted, making all of your antics stop as he pinched your cheeks, and then looked at the shadows with a menacing glare.
"Get out." And he forced you and the shadows to get out.

A day passed, you and his shadows aren't gonna stop with the usual antics of photo shooting.
"Cheese!" You pictured him many times, as well as Beru joining in the antic
"You..." He hissed more like a cat as his frown deepened, you and Beru really are troublemakers.
"I can't believe the heavens for making my dear liege a—" Beru got cut off and disappeared

"oh uh bye" You ran away, not before taking another picture of him.
of course you and Beru were the only ones joining in the antics, maybe Iron could also join if he wanted but he'd disappear if Jinwoo was eavesdropping because Jinwoo would say "cancel summon" on any shadow you ask.
Obviously when his cat features are gone, he'd summon them back but the thing is that it's probably still far from him to be in his normal form again so you'd have to plan all by yourself whether he likes it or not, he'd definitely punish you at one point.
So a few weeks passed by, you finally had planned something Jinwoo wouldn't know, Jinwoo knew mostly your pranks were gonna be hiding from him it's literally impossible but he played along with your prank just for funsies and anything dumb that an adult would imagine.
But you doubt it now and then so you decided to pretend he was invisible, without telling the shadows cause obviously shadows are shadows, and Jinwoo can eavesdrop a shadow anytime, anywhere.
So you just decided to do the plan and ignore him! Simple, right? No, absolutely the opposite.
You played video games, ignoring the fact that Jinwoo is literally in front of you, literally and really hes was getting you to acknowledge him, you only pretended to not see or hear him, only focusing on your games.
"Hey, up here." He commanded, but he didn't even acknowledge the fact this was even a prank, he thought you were hallucinating or something.
"Huh? Why is my phone floating?" You questioned yourself, trying to take the phone from Jinwoo's hands.
"Do you not see me?" He asked, putting the phone higher as he suspected that this was a prank.
"Is there a ghost here?" You asked, looking around with a hint of worry as you tiptoed to get your phone.
"Am I really invisible?" He spoke loud and clear for your eyes but you pretended to not hear or see him still as he rose the height of the phone higher as his cat tail wagged slowly in a lazy motion.
"Ugh, is this punishment from the heavens?" You said to yourself, giving up as you walked out of the bedroom and into the living room to watch on the tv.

"Oh no!" You grabbed a fire extinguisher and threw it at the head, the person groaning in pain from the impact.
"Fuck! Did you actually just?" Jinwoo was annoyed that you'd throw a literal fire extinguisher at his head, but at least he knows you're ignoring him as a form of prank as his cat ears continued to twitch in annoyances before he let out a sigh and went to the couch after using shadow extraction because he may or not broke a wall just to do his prank as he pinched your cheeks.
"Ow! Who did that?" You looked around, continuing to ignore him.
You really are gonna get a punishment from him for sure for even continuing your antics.

"Jin... Jinwoo?? Since when did you turn into a... Baby?" You asked, other shadows appeared around, including Beru.
"Mine own liege hast did turn into an adorable dram creature!" Beru yipped in happiness, Jinwoo wasn't happy at his form being a baby now and Beru noticing.
"This isn't something to be happy about, Beru." Jinwoo spoke, trying to act annoyed but it only comes out as a pout on his cheeks.
"Wait, you actually pout?" You asked him, to others, they think he's pouting. To him, it's an act of annoyance.
"No." He said, completely ignoring the fact he did in fact pout the other day because you were leaving for a hangout with your friends.

"Whatt?" You covered your eyes, preventing the light from particularly blinding your eyes from the light shining from the curtains.
"Breakfast." That was all Jinwoo said before carrying you, he didn't bother to remove the blanket on your body and carried you to the kitchen where Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja were probably shooting glares as Jinwoo placed you on the chair, dragging out chair and placing your still sleepy form on it, causing you to slightly shift to sit as he sat behind you.
"Still asleep?" Yoo Joonghyuk spoke, removing his apron and folding it neatly before placing it somewhere as he walked to your side and removed your blanket, folding it as well as he walked to your bedroom to place it there, and probably fix your bed as well.
"Are you hungry?" Kim Dokja asked, poking your mouth which earned him a bite in his finger as he winced.

Dokja spoke, taking notice of how when he tried to use the character profile, it only ended up with failure, so he decided not to indulge further in curiosity.
"I see, and may I ask to join your group perhaps? I'm not sure if it's alright to go fight alone." Jinwoo simply said, thanking Dokja with a nod as he opened up his stats and leveled them equally, feeling himself become a little stronger than before since his power was still the same as before, he obviously took notice of the purple box earlier that suggested it.
"No." Joonghyuk spoke flatly, leaving no buts as an answer.
"Alright then, I'll get going now." Jinwoo simply said, glancing at the group one last time before walking away.
He could still hear Dokja trying to persuade Joonghyuk as Jinwoo heard Joonghyuk say about something.
"I'm gonna break your skull." Was probably the lines Jinwoo heard from Joonghyuk's mouth before the dokkaebi appeared, though it wasn't Bihyung.
"Sorry but, the main scenario has been delayed due to an error, please have a sub scenario as I will be working on fixing the error." The dokkaebi said, swiftly disappearing into thin air as the blue box popped up once again in everyone's eyes.

Jinwoo nodded, pulling away from the kiss as he easily lifted you up, carrying you outside to his car as he placed you in the passenger seat as he went to the driver seat, buckling your seatbelt before he did with his own seatbelt as he drove to the amusement park, he didn't want people looking shocked that he suddenly appeared in the amusement park as he just drove there, sharing conversations with you about your day and his day.
"Ooh, Jinwoo let's go there!" You said, smiling as you were tugging on his hand after you both just arrived at the amusement park, your other hand pointing to the rollercoaster.
"Alright, whatever you say." Jinwoo nodded, his expression softening at your smile, his usual frown tugging upwards in a slight evidence of a smile as he followed you, arriving at the rollercoaster as you and Jinwoo sat in the front line as the rollercoaster started.
"Eeek!" You practically screamed, of course obviously, with how high the rollercoaster was going up and how it dropped down, following the rails and going in a loop, then a camera shot, obviously from the rollercoaster ride there might have been cameras aimed to shoot the people in the picture.
Jinwoo on the other hand, didn't really respond, only smiling along the drops and loops of the rollercoaster due to your screams, he was agile so the ride was slightly slow nonetheless, and oh boy he was in a ride of a bunch of rides he was going to experience with you, and haunted houses, just in exchange of your cute reactions.
"Look! Theres a picture of us in the rollercoaster." You spoke, your eyes gleaming with curiosity as you examined the photos the camera had pictured, the people already leaving after taking a glance or taking the picture with them.
"We should take it, as a souvenir." A simple white lie, he'd only lie this once and he'd definitely keep it forever because of your reaction that was caught on camera as he took the picture, his hand on your back as he guided you out of the rollercoaster.

"What's that? I can't fucking hear you, slut." The girl who was choking you now laughed shortly, mocking you.
You tried to respond but you couldn't, your face turning more and more pale by the time, you were losing consciousness fast and if you didn't—

You dropped to your knees suddenly, the tightness on your throat disappeared as suddenly as it was, your gaze in a daze as you slowly looked up, to see Jinwoo holding the girl's wrist tightly to the point the girl had winced loud.
"Oh? But I've never asked you to hurt them, did I?" He spoke, smiling in more of a dangerous way as his hand, that was firmly and roughly gripping the girl's wrist had quickly disappeared and appeared on the girl's throat, choking her as her face paled, the color in her face had drained almost immediately when she saw him.
"Wait!— I-it was an accident—" The girl pleaded weakly, tears in her eyes beginning to fall from her cheeks as Jinwoo shot back, replying coldly to her pleading.
"But you think choking and bullying my beloved is okay? I don't think so." Jinwoo said in a colder edge, his grip on the girl's throat tightening till she was about to pass out, only to release his grip.
"Leave." Jinwoo ordered the group of girls, not taking no as an answer as the girls scurried away in fear, not wanting to be the victim of Jinwoo's wrath.
"J-Jinwoo..?" You spoke weakly, still kneeling as you slowly glanced up to meet his cold gaze, evidence of fear and guilt in your eyes.
"Dear, don't listen to them, they're just jealous, alright?" Jinwoo said softly, his cold expression melting to a soft one as he pressed kisses on your face in an assuring way.
"Okay.." You said, the doubt was still sprouting in your heart but it slowly started to disappear, giving him another chance as you hugged him, continuing for a little while before you completely shifted your weight onto his body, you were slowly starting to doze off out of worry and he'd notice that quickly as usual.
"Let's go home." And with his words, he teleported you both to the shared home you guys had, carrying you to the shared bed, he placed you down before he laid next to you, wrapping his arms around you as he slowly fell asleep.

"Yeah, why are you also here if I may ask?" Jinwoo questioned you as well after you asked him, you were a new S-rank hunter after all.
"I'm here to clear the gate, so I'll be going inside now, no need to enter—" You got cut off by his determined voice.
"No, I plan on going inside." He spoke with a nonchalant face as he walked past you and went inside the gate.
You sighed and went inside the gate, you and Jinwoo found yourselves standing in front of a more natural environment than a dungeon, it's clear that you both ended up in a red gate as the breeze rushed past you and Jinwoo, both of your hair flowing with the breeze as it was completely raining in the environment.
"Great, what a hassle." You muttered quietly in annoyance as you already began walking forward, sensing if there was anything that lurked a threat.
Shadow tendrils emerged from Jinwoo's form as shadows began appearing one by one as he spoke with confidence and caution.
"Need me to carry you?" He spoke lightly, his eyes looking at your narrowed, annoyed eyes.
"I am completely fine, thank you." You said, one of your eyes probably twitched with irritation as you turned around and continued walking ahead, finding a group of monsters that were inside the gate you and Jinwoo were in as you were suddenly about to attack it, only to find it dead by a knight who slashed through it with its sword.
"It seems you aren't fine though, from examining your eye." He said, glancing at your twitching eye with nonchalance and a hint of smirk tugging on his lips as he approached you closer, standing next to you as his shadow, Igris, Beru and the other shadows continued slaying the monsters that surged towards the shadows.
"Seriously?" You said, the enemies killed by his shadows when you were about to attack.
"Yes seriously." He said, not bothering to stop what his shadows were doing so you could get just one kill from the enemies instead of his shadows.
"Well, I'll catch you later, I guess." You said, dashing away from the person, you just wanted to kill the boss as you spotted the boss a few moments later and took the chance to kill it as you slashed it easily, with your powers much stronger than the boss due to the system that had helped you when you were at your lowest.
The same blue box appeared along with another quest, bonding? but it'd give you a lot of EXP too along with clearing the gate the System requested you.
[having these levels will grant you buffs time to time, making EXP increase as you increase bonding with Sung Jinwoo.]
"Damn, I didn't reach it in time, did I?" He walked towards you, the blue box disappearing before you got to even finish reading due to him. His shadows now gone because they finished clearing the enemies.
"You snooze, you lose." You left the gate after you spoke, leaving him inside as he followed after you, asking a question.
"Do you perhaps... Know a thing about romance? Just for a que—" He cut himself off, realizing he was probably saying something stupid to someone like you.
"Nevermind, uh do you wanna get a drink?" He said nonchalantly, walking alongside you as he put his hands into his pockets.
"Can I ask if you're a player?" You asked.
"Wait, you're also one?" He asked, not even answering your question.
"You're paying for my drink." You said, not even bothering to answer his question just like how he didn't answer your question.
"Fair enough." He simply spoke, continuing to walk by your side to a café.
"So, your number? Just to get to know you first." He asked as you were sipping on your drink he bought for you as you continued sipping your drink while he was eating one of the foods that was mentioned in the café menu.
"That's more like you're asking someone out than making a friend." You replied, exchanging numbers with him as you continued to sip on your drink.
"What if it is then?" He spoke, looking at you with his usual nonchalance.
"Then you're the one paying since you have more money." You stated clearly, maybe you just wanted to be spoiled or not, not that you'd be surprised if he didn't.
"Deal." He said.
"Wait what?"
"We're going anywhere you like." He declared, this guy really was trying to get to know you better.. Or maybe more.
And he really stuck to his words.

he thought, shaking his head as he examined the surroundings, examining the grouped people, he noticed Dokja's friends all grouped together by 6 members but Dokja and Joonghyuk, the two people he met weren't grouped as well, weird, anyways.
he looked up at the sky, a blackish blue hue, probably midnight That's probably 7pm was what he could know, after all, he doesn't have a phone.
"Jinwoo, over here!" Dokja called out, waving a hand towards Jinwoo again as Joonghyuk, Sooyoung, Jihye and Heewon came along.
Jinwoo turned around to see the group of 5 people as he spoke with the usual nonchalance.
"Yeah, anything wrong?" Jinwoo asked them, tilting his head at their entrance.
"We want you to be a part of our group." Dokja declared, Joonghyuk shaking his head slightly but didn't say a word yet.
"Uh sure, I don't mind at all." Jinwoo spoke once again with the nonchalance, well, he was in a group now, glad he didn't have to use his shadows to test if deceased monsters work as members.
"Alright, let's go. The monsters are gonna spawn." Dokja said, nodding at his acceptance at his offer and motioned him to follow him as he walked to the monsters that were planning to spawn.
"So who's going first?" Dokja questioned the group, seeing Joonghyuk raising his hand, he nodded and stepped aside to let Joonghyuk kill the monsters for an hour.
"So, Since Joonghyuk is going first, any ideas on how to pass the time?" Dokja asked, glancing at Sooyoung, Jihye, Heewon and Jinwoo who all stayed quiet.
"Hide and seek." Sooyoung suggested, Dokja interfering.
"You'd win every time." Which made Sooyoung frown due to his rejection.
"But—"
"Nope."
They had managed to pass the time, somehow. Probably by talking or sleeping.

A day passed, the sub scenario was over and the main scenario was starting.
somehow a few minutes into the scenario and Dokja, seemingly has sacrificed himself and died, but the rest were still normal as usual, Jinwoo must be crazy if they're normal as usual over Dokja's death.
"He'll come back." Was all Joonghyuk said to Jinwoo as he continued fighting the monsters... As Jinwoo stood there in confusion and just fought against the monsters instead of asking once more.
