THE THOUGHT PIQUED HIS CURIOSITY, causing a quick hand to chin motion. Flooded with all sorts of ideas, he leaned closer to her --- and as if his idea was the best idea, became a must to keep it on the down low. Only the two were worthy to hear. Yeah okay, the question was for his “friend”. In reality, he had seen many stupid videos on youtube. Youtubers cooking toys and objects in a waffle machine. So, if a hair straightener alone could heat up to 83 degrees... A NEW INVENTION.

“We should... Cook some bacon with a hair straightener. I’ll even go buy one at the store right now. Just saying... I think its genius.”

everything's clean and neat. his cellphone is on the table beside the bed, charger plugged in. the windows are shut, sun beams through the glass. monochrome furnitures. a couple of magazines on the floor. a few cameras on the top shelves, arranged carefully. there's black and white photos on the wall, ones he took back in switzerland at winter 2010.

“It was worth a try. I just wanted a piece of your cheesecake” Kiko grinned widely as her fork crept towards the other’s plate.

“So this was just a plan of attack? Ah!” There’s a soft sound of clinking silverware as her fork clashes with the other’s. “I take cheesecake really seriously, you know...” She squints, first at Kiko and then at the dessert before her. “But I might be persuaded if you can step up your pick up line game... one really good one so I don’t feel so used for food.” Her voice takes on a dramatic tone at the end of her sentence, but leaves off with a grin as she pulls her fork back.
