The Minsk Wheeled Tractor Plant has created a strike committee. The plant is going to decide in the coming days whether to join the strike. The workers have also drawn up a list of demands, including - to support the removal of illegitimate power, holding new elections, to ensure the release of political prisoners and the inadmissibility of violence against the workers of the plant for their civil position, tut.by writes.

MZKT workers say that the plant has held a preliminary meeting about the strike. "About 200 people gathered. They drew up a statement with standard demands on the resignation of the government and others, - one of the plant employees says. - But immediately after the meeting pressure from the leadership began. They said they would withdraw 20% of the bonus for violating the rules of internal order. They threaten to transfer to 2/3 of the tariff rate".

In the coming days, the strike committee will consult with the workers whether they are ready to go on strike if their demands are not met.

We remind that Lukashenka has visited MZKT this week. The President arrived at the plant by helicopter, talked to the workers in the workshops and went out to people in the street. He was met by shouting "Leave!".

Prior to that, General Director of the enterprise Aliaksei Rymasheuski said at a meeting with the workers that he had voted for Lukashenka at the elections, saying: "I admit that he (Lukashenka. - Ed.) has not won the elections."
