its so weird seeing pictures of myself from before i transitioned. And its a very strange kinda whiplash. I don’t always process that I’m a dude, sometimes I don’t believe myself, I often don’t feel enough of one, but I am one, and I’m only more sure looking back at those pictures because damn I barely recognize the girl in them. She was not happy. She was stuck halfway between hell and limbo. I love looking in the mirror now, and I havent even gone on hormones or anything. The hair cut, the clothes, the mindset, even just changing those fixed so much. I’m just. Way more myself. Proud of having gotten this far, the me from like 3 years ago could not have seen this coming. The me from 3 years ago thought that getting to this point wouldn’t be enough or that it wouldn’t be worth it if i couldn’t go all the way, but it really is. It’s so worth it. With my scruffy stupid anime boy hair and my gaudy graphic button up shirts that are MINE and no one elses... its a good feeling.
