honestly tho the more i reread the hr books, every kind of way rachel writes shane and also yuna starts making my eye twitch with rage. she doesn't gaf abt his anxiety or his feelings or his traumas or his ethnicity or his queerness or his eating disorder or anything. n EYE can talk about how yuna is slightly overbearing as a mom coz they're the only two asians in a white supremacist field or whatever, but rachel def dint mean that and doesn't get to write yuna like this with no commentary whatsoever🫠🫥.
