A Change Of Pace

It’s been a busy two weeks, man. A busy two weeks that along the way ended with me getting candy hair.

There’s not much to say about it! I had a friend help me dye it. My hair was a blonde level 8 or so beforehand, toner with the classic Wella Color Charm T18. Many of you will remember how gold it was before, so I had to get rid of that first.

Afterwards I went in with a small brush and N Rage’s Twisted Teal and Ferocious Fuschia. I mixed in some of a The Beyond the Zone hair masque into each bowl. I left it on for roughly two hours to get the final color. It’s hairly even, though it did stain a lot on anything it got on, including my nails.

I only used about half the bottle mixed 1:1 with a 10 developer for each side, and I have super long, thick hair. 

I probably should’ve rinsed it more than I did, but I didn’t, and so far it’s caused minimal issues. Nothing worth noting other than a slight tinge on one of my shirts. The teal is the worst. I’ve been wearing a lot of purple with it though because it looks purple when both colors are mixed!

Altogether, I think this dye is great and I love this style and I’m having a lot of fun with doing this kind of thing. I’ll definitely keep this up for a while.

attention all colorful headed followers!!! i want to dye my hair blue and purple, but i’m not entirely sure which dyes to use. i’ve used ion color brights, but they didn’t really come out how i wanted them to. i’ve also used splat which has great color, it’s just super messy and stains EVERYTHING. my favorite is ‘n rage because it smells like bubblegum and lasts for a good while, but does anyone have any brand suggestions? ps. something i can afford on a college student’s budget please!!

I just saw your post about the N Rage product (Purple plum). I was wondering if you were able to eventually see the purple plum or if your hair stayed blue the whole time. The reason I ask is because I just did it and my hair looks black but when I wash it blue comes out.

Nah, my hair stayed blue the whole time :/ Has your hair changed at all since?

'N Rage hair dye

Hej mačići. Pošto sam se pre neki dan ofarbala u pastelno roze boju, htela sam da podelim neka iskustva sa vama.

Koristila sam 'N Rage Bubble Gum Pink farbu za kosu koja izgleda ovako:

Pre korišćenja farbe kosa mora biti izbeljena. Ja sam blanš jako kratko držala na glavi ali mi je dosta izbelio kosu. Mada, mislim da to ipak nije bilo dovoljno i smatram da bi za ovu metodu trebala kosa da bude jos svetlija i da nema narandžastih pigmenata.

Prvo sam farbala kosu metodom koju sam svuda videla, a to je mešanje regeneratora i farbe za kosu. 

Uglavnom, nije mi se baš primila boja jer mi kosa nije bila dovoljno prosvetljena.

Nakon toga sam samo iskoristila čistu farbu bez regeneratora i boja mi je ispala odlično.

Nemojte se plašiti jer izgleda tamno kada se farbate. Nakon ispiranja ćete dobiti željenu boju.

Farba predivno miriše, podeća me na miris banane. xD

Uglavnom, rezultati su odlični, kosa je još boljeg kvaliteta nego pre i veoma je mekana.

Pazite samo kako koristite blanš i nećete imati problema. Ne mogu da kažem ni da mi je 5mm kose oštećeno jer bih lagala. Plašila sam se korišćenja blanša zbog oštećenja, ali samo trebate pratiti proces. Meni je bila već svetla kosa tako da sam držala blanš samo pet minuta.
