“No, I’m not going to go on Reshiram,” Hilda bluntly replied to N’s offer.
“C’mon! I’m not going to let you fall,” N spoke.
It was a beautiful starry night and N just offered Hilda to take a ride on Reshiram.
“I hate heights,” Hilda stated, crossing her arms, though she was losing some of her resolve to N’s mysterious sharp gray eyes.
“I will make sure your safe,” he spoke in a soft voice.
He reached out his hand to help her up.
“You can trust me,” he assured.
Hilda didn’t know what took held of her but she found herself accepting N’s outstretched hand. As she grabbed it, she couldn’t help but feel how warm and comforting it was.
“You ready?” N questioned as she settled herself in front of him.
She couldn’t help but feel N’s warm breath and the small vibrations she felt as he breathed.
“Yes,” she spoke, squeezing her eyes shut.
She felt as Reshiram took off and could feel a weird feeling she had never felt. Her body felt as if it was floating. She slowly opened one eye and saw she was already in high elevation. Quickly shutting her eyes, she tried to burrow her trembling body next to N.
“Hey it’s ok,” N soft voice rang out,” instead of looking down. Why not look up?”
Hilda begrudgingly tilted her head up and slowly opened her eyes. What she saw amazed her. There was currently the Northern lights shining in the night sky with many stars twinkling.
“Wow,” she murmured in awe,” It’s beautiful,”
“See it’s not so bad up here,” N laughed.
She felt as Reshiram slowly descend where it flew over a body of water that glittered with the reflections of the stars.
“Try feeling,” N spoke, as he carefully stuck his hand out.
Hilda watched N placed his hand slightly in the water. She wanted to do it but she still hesitated.
“Let me help you,” N stated.
He gently grabbed her hand and with his, he stuck both of their hands on top of the water as Reshiram continued slowly flying over the water. Hilda couldn’t explain it, but the water felt amazing as her hand was basically gliding over water. N released his hand as Hilda kept her hand out.
“Now lets go fly over the city,” N spoke to Reshiram who then growled in agreement.
Hilda placed her hand over her face but N grabbed on to them.
“Don’t you dare cover your eyes,” he spoke in a gentle voice,” your going to want to see this.”
Hilda listened to him and found herself grow enchanted to the glowing lights of the city. It was like she was in a whole new world, a world with just her and N and the quietness of the sky.
“Why was I ever afraid?” she questioned herself.
She looked back to see N’s face who was focusing on the beauty of the city.
“I don’t ever want this to end,” she thought to herself though she knew it would end soon. So she let herself enjoy the rest of this precious flight with N by her side.
