i'll be honest i genuinely have the worst reason to NOT play forsaken often. yeah i enjoy dandy's world which is essentially a more cartoonish version of forsaken, and forsaken is one of those games categorized as "horror" that doesn't make me piss myself (unlike games like doors or certain regretevator floors), and even though the community and animations are goofy i take forsaken WAY too seriously to the point where i can't enjoy it the same way i enjoy dandy's world
like i can't even be mad at the twisteds in dw since they're ai driven and don't have their own skills to counter mine. but in forsaken the things hunting me down are REAL PEOPLE who are very much better than me and it just sends me into a ragequitty frenzy. i'd genuinely play forsaken more if i took it less seriously but for some reason i can't. which sucks because between forsaken and dw i actually like forsaken's generator puzzles more than dw's skillchecks and doing them is probably the only thing i look forward to when i boot up forsaken

OKAY I TOTALLY GET THE GENERATOR PUZZLES. Those are some of my favorite puzzles to do and I'm always quick with them. However... I'm not good at Forsaken. LMAO! Uhm...I don't know I mean I never got super into it and just played a few times with friends when they wanted me to join in but it never caught my attention that much
The lore is supercool but the fucking GAMEPLAY stresses me out... like... these are real people hunting me down this might as well be real life and I am NOT good enough to get away... and also people targeted me 24/7 because they could SMELL that I was a new player. Dear lord
I do like those generators a lot though >:-)
