This is delicious dessert called, "Nab Vam Sov" in English romanization "Navah Shaw". This Asian delight is different from the cousin cold tapioca dessert. "Nab Vam Sov" is made of tapioca pearls boiled with Sweet Purple Yam, Taro, and sugar. This dessert is best served on cold winter days or when one is sick. I love how the sweet Earthy thickness and the aroma of the Sweet Purple Yam gives me when it touches the tongue.
