Do I want a replacement print copy of the Insight and Inspiration Guide?

After a slight mix up with the initial print run the new and beautiful (if I do say so myself) Insight and Inspiration Guides are at NACUECreate HQ ready to be sent out.  

If you received one of the first batch and aren't sure if you want a new copy the differences are:

Cosmetic - due to a number of printer mishaps.  The new ones are bigger, have the right cover, are better quality and the formatting is correct. Content - the first version was a print of an early test copy so there a are a few proofing issues and the introduction from NacueCreate is different however the majority of the content is the same.

As well as the flyers for the Digitech Creative Project the lovely new Nacue folk @amyeowatson and @katrina_hau arrived at IEEC with the flyers for the Insight and Inspiration Guide.  Flyers looked cool and it was a great opportunity for us to let people know about the book and how to sign up for a free print or PDF copy.  Had some really enthusiastic responses and am looking forward to feedback from the enterprise educators and creative subject lecturers once they have had a read.

Call for submissions - creative enterprise what's on guide

Submissions for What's On Guide

As part of a free guide for educators working with creative subject students we are compiling a what's on section to share enterprise ideas and inspiration across universities in the UK.

We are looking for short submissions (one or two sentences - appx. 70 words) including relevant hyperlinks and images where available.  Submissions may be specific for creative students or for the general student body.

Current content submission themes include:

Societies and Enterprise Groups Workshops and Modules Events Local Retail Large Scale and Long Term Projects Alumni and Community Blogs and Websites Ideas and Resources

Nacue Leaders Summit Awards

I was lucky enough to be asked to judge this year's NACUE enterprise awards alongside four great judges involved in supporting HE and FE enterprise development.

Judging the awards was really hard due to the high quality of all the entries particularly the brilliant work being done at college level and of course my biased favorites in the the creative enterprise category!

Stationary Cravings #1

Here's a collection of lovely bits and bobs from Neuland distributers in the UK: Pinpoint Facilitation who have an awful website but really useful products!

I use these cards and sticky notes to help map out ideas and work with others to visualise strategy.  The following picture shows a snapshot of the mapping day I had with Luka at Nacue/Create.
