Cry out to Ali, manifest of wonders
You shall find him a relief for you amid calamities
Mine is a need unto God and upon Him my trust
Whatsoever He ordained and I entrusted passed in the shadow of God
And God cast (the protection of) His shadow onto me
I pray to You in every disquiet and sorrow, that it might pass
By Your grandeur, Oh God!
By your prophethood, Oh Muhammad!
By your guardianship, Oh Ali! Oh Ali! Oh Ali!
Hear me, by right of Your subtle kindness
God is Greater! (than that He be described)
I seek sanctuary from the evil of Your enemies
My God is Eternal, from You is my aid, upon You is my reliance
By right of the verse “It is You we worship, and You we seek aid from”
Oh father of aid, support me! Oh father of Hasan and Husayn, hear me!
Oh sword of God, hear me! Oh gate of God, hear me!
Oh proof of God, hear me! Oh friend of God, hear me!
By right of Your subtle kindness
Oh Almighty Who vanquishes all oppression
And Whose compulsion is the force in subjection
Oh Almighty, Oh vanquisher of the enemy and guardian of the friend!
Oh manifest of wonders, Oh Ali with whom God was pleased
Unto God I entrust my affair: whomsoever seeks to oppress me,
Strike them with the arrow of God and the fatal sword
Verily God is most acutely aware of his servants
And your god is one God, no god but He, ever compassionate and most merciful
Hear me by thy mercy
Oh relief of the beseechers, oh guide of the perplexed
Oh refuge of the fearful, oh aide of the entrusting
Oh merciful unto the poor, oh god of all worlds
May God bless our master Muhammad and all his progeny
And praise is to God, Lord of all worlds
