“Did you just hiss at me?” Gabriel’s voice was incredulous as he regarded Jack.
The Naga looked surprised, before he looked down at his hands. “I’m sorry Gabriel I didn’t mean to. I just… It’s been raining a lot and it’s making me cranky.” Jack replied, as he curled up on himself making himself a tight ball of scales, coils and naga. He was unbelievably embarrassed. He had never ever hissed at Gabriel like that in the months they had been fooling around like this.
But that day, the Satyr had entered his cave in just the wrong way and Jack had hissed at him.
“Jack. Jack stop sulking. It’s okay. I get it. Come on, I’m a furnace, I’ll warm you back up into your happy disposition.” Gabriel said trying to untangle the Naga from himself. Once he got a hole big enough he started to wiggle his way in to cuddle with Jack and warm him up.
