10: My muse handcuffed to the bedpost

The princess stared at him. Seth stared back, wishing he had an explanation. Piled next to his cot was a stack of books which he’d been glaring peevishly at. Apparently, it had been decided, that given his penchant to ignore his own injuries, it would be in his own best interests were he restrained until the healers declared him fit for combat once more. He was checked in on, frequently, to ensure all of his bodily needs were met, so when the tent flaps rustled he assumed it was one of the apprentice healers. 

It was not. “Ahh, Princess Lucina...Would you be interested in perhaps learning about the horse-traders of 5th Century Jehanna?” Seth really hoped she did not question the restraints...or worse, take it as something intimate in nature.

“Father there you are the I’ve been looking for you.” Lucina smiles seeing her father. It feels like it’s been ages since she has spoken to him.

He had been looking over some papers when he heard the voice address him, curiously facing up and seeing his daughter’s face. He smiles and pushes the papers aside, immediately giving her his full attention.

“Lucina. Please, come in. Is there something I can help you with?”
