are your OCs cynical or optimistic? Who or what shaped their outlook on life?

Astra, Aarvus, Mezzie, and Nagila are cynical. Astra and Mezzie are that way because of their peers just sending wave after wave of negitive reinforcement and telling them how awful and useless they are. Aarvus is that way because from birth he knew he was faulty and knew he was raised purely to be a battery and not even going to achieve that, so he kinda just let himself sink into that negativity until it plateaus into nihilism. Nagila has done it to himself because he cant fathom anything being his fault. He doesnt want to leave his game, so he doesnt bathe, he doesnt want to waste time on his hair so he just lets it get matted and chops it off, he doesnt want to learn to socialize so he just hates people and blames them or not accepting him.

Zestil on the other hand, is hopeful. He actively tries to only see the silver lining. If there isnt any, hes gunna gut that unicorn and motherfuckin make it! He grew up with a wolf for a lusus so he was raised to fight and protect himself and have a more pack mentality than most trolls. And then he learned about The Signless, and the rebellion he sparked, and The Summoner! He idolizes The Summoner / Rufioh Nitram and makes his entire personality, his whole existence, in his image. He wants to have a better society for all trolls, and he wants to be a person Vantas and Nitram would have been proud of.

He is a misogynist through and through. This is a core part of his being... some people are into him for some reason and i just wanna clarify that he is what Aarvus is trying to be but failing at being awful enough to achieve. he is the text book incel.

He is a gold blood, and he does have psionics but he is NOT even REMOTELY close to Sollux or Mituna in power. He just barely scrapes by enough to have the eye color thing (and only because I googled it and its narratively useful to have him be at least that good). He can do basic stuff, but the reason his strife specibus is guns is because he needs a conduit to use his shit.

he can detonate though. i feel like any psionic user can do this, so im not limiting him on it, it just wont be nearly as magnificent and grandiose as the Captors doing it.

He thinks hes better than you. this is not dependent on gender, he just already assumes youre an idiot and that hes better at everything than you.

HE SMELLS SO FUCKING BAD and you cant even convince him that he doesnt. He smells like rotten eggs 100% of the time.

How tall is everyone comparatively?

Astra is 5'3" and Aarvus is 5'5" .... Which I forgot I made him a manlette when I drew the other 3...

So I guess Nag has to be taller so make him 5'8", and to keep it consistent with the heights in the thing i actually drew, the other two are kinda giant compared to Astra and Aarvus at 6'6" for Zesty and 6'10" for Mezzie....

this kinda makes the art i did of astra and mezzie inaccurate size wise :/ i didnt even think about it

Do your OCs have their quadrants filled with anyone else, and would they like to?

Aarvus has 3 friends that hed actually call friends and regulars on discord that arent the general masses, but none of them are even Moirails. so until he got Astra, he had completely empty quadrants. With her though, shes filling Matesprite and Kismesis.

Astra on the other hand, has Aarvus filling two plus one of his friends (P.P./Mezzie) ends up being a Moirail at one point because hes just being a shit and she needed to vent and some other drama that would take a bit to explain. its slightly before The Vast Glub though.

Aarvus' friends are SulfuricCyinide(Nagila Zarkan - gold blood), ModdedMortician(Zestil Marzul - brown blood), and PecularPhenominon(Mezzie Keffka - hemo-anonymous purple blood).

Nagila is a narcissistic asshole, but a smart one. hes the one who pointed out that purple bloods would probably cull Aarvus if Astra ever left his hive. Hes good at guessing outcomes.

Mezzie is pretty high anxiety and its because for a purple blood hes small and not particularly strong, but amongst low bloods he would be considered both and being found out, especially now that hes got friends, would destroy him. hes got a knack for finding things out about people.

Zestil is a troublemaker and a rabble-rouser. He absolutely idolizes [Alternian] Rufioh Nitram and thats basically his roll model. As such, hes in the incel club cus no one wants their heads lobbed off for being around him, leaving him quadrant-less.
