this haircut has made me so so happy even if it's only been 12 hrs. it's such a small step but like, it is one.

when i was getting it, and she was cutting the sides I was so mortified. I'd not only never had hair so short, I'd never had hair not completely surround my face. But when she started working on the top I was like "this... this looks rly good" and honestly I'm so so pleased with those pictures I took. To the point where I posted them on FB, where I'm not anywhere near out.

It also was a good bridge to discuss with Mathieu our relationship irt me transitioning and if that's something he wants to deal with. Of course he gave his usual laugh and didn't reply, which was disheartening to say the least, but at least I finally was able to broach a subject that should have been addressed a little sooner.

Im just pleased beyond words. Probably the best $90 I've spent all year.

I was asked this tonight by @aether-eyes,  I want to go into detail about Howl and any kind of talents he has. 

Howl’s mother was a patissiere and from her Howl picked up a talent in cooking, primarily baking. Croissants are his speciality but outside his immediately family, this talent is basically unknown since he’s far too lazy to actually bake himself, and far too dumb to consider ever baking something for a friend or lover. 

His other major talent one would think would be arcanima. Howl did get into the Arcanist Guild as a teenager, was promoted up to assessor and later an instructor rather quickly, but as it turns out Howl is exceptionally skilled at teaching and helping others. Even after the Calamity as his mental health rapidly declined, he was able to do his job as an educator and well at that. This ended up carrying over to his current days as a Warrior of Light. While he isn’t not particularly equipped to be a fighter or kill gods, what he is in fact known for is his ability to work with and understand people and especially help them. As it turns out, the quiet kid who spent his youth alone reading ended up being incredibly extroverted and craves human connections.

Any time I get the urge to finally get on finishing a bit of writing, something always gets in the way and I end up not being able to. I've been trying to write the same V3 fic for about a month and I still only have a terrible first draft and a general concept.

never forget that time I talked for 5 minutes in discord about how the hmc book is so much better than the movie because I haven't. I'm an embarrassment.
