Lesser Lord Kusanali dwells deep in the Sanctuary of Surasthana, and has never really been in the limelight, nor has she even been mentioned much. Her burden is heavy, but though she may experience loneliness, and though darkness is all she sees before her, she will not stop moving forward.
The new guardian of the tree of life, the reader is not part of any pantheon the gods would consider them as an outer god basically a god that wasn't mentioned in any mythology in Earth's history.
The Tree of Life is an ancient, primordial entity that predates even the gods. It is the source of all life, dreams, and wisdom, existing beyond the cycle of creation and destruction. While many gods claim dominion over life, they only shape what the Tree of Life allows to exist. it records every action, choice, and consequence of the universe holding the secrets of the universe even the gods aren't aware of.
Reader is a divine being who predates many of the gods in Valhalla, existing since the dawn of creation. The Tree of Life, which they are bound to, is said to be the source of wisdom and vitality in the universe.
The original guardian sacrificed themselves and from the branch of the tree gave birth towards the reader, the reader is the avatar of the tree and works as its guardian protecting it as well as nurturing it making sure knowledge would be spread around.
During their free time they would visit the dreams of humans and spend time with them, as well protecting them from nightmares and giving blessings towards them, most people who receive their blessing are granted with wealth and become scholars.
They are neither fully aligned with the gods nor humans, but rather with the balance of life itself. To them, Ragnarok is an unnatural disruption of the cycle, but they do not interfere unless necessary.
They view the gods to be overly arrogant, they are convinced themselves they are invisible meanwhile nahida! reader fully knows the truth that they themselves cannot escape fate and soon believe another species would take control of the heavens. Similar to the cycle of titans and gods.
Their presence nurtures life—wherever they go, flowers bloom, and dying trees regain their vitality. Some gods mistake this for a harmless trait, unaware of the immense power it signifies.
Often found in a garden-like domain outside of Valhalla, where reality shifts between dream and waking. The place serves as a sanctuary for them and the aranaras.
The Aranara are small, plant-like spirits born from the dreams of nature itself, residing within Reader’s sacred domain in Valhalla. They are fragments of the Tree of Life’s will, acting as its protectors and messengers. Each one represents different aspects of the natural cycle—growth, decay, renewal, and dreams.
In some ways the aranaras are the leafs meanwhile the reader is the branch and roots of the tree of life.
The tree of life holds knowledge about everything of the universe living beings, humans, primordial gods it holds records since the start and before the rule of the gods. And the reader is able to bend this knowledge meaning they have the capability to remove the authority of the gods as well erasing their existence.
By this knowledge most of Valhalla are weary of them even fear them being afraid that if they manage to anger them the reader would remove the authority of them stripping them from their title.
Even the most powerful gods fully know they are nothing compared towards their authority instead they respect the reader as well as having a political alliance with them, the reader would still be considered a neutral side they are only loyal towards duty not evil or good.
