Junha didn’t have to move an inch from his position (laid across the only sofa in the recording studio, notebook covering his face and a hand dangling to the floor), to know who’d come in. It was a voice he’d known since he started in 2K and one he’d known even better this year. He seemed to be with her all the time; through their recordings and practices, he was convinced her pitched voice was engraved into his memories, into his ear drums never to be forgotten again.
Not that he entirely minded, but there were times, such as right now while he was trying to get a nap between failed arrangement after another, that he liked his peace and quiet. With a groan and no further indication of his ruined plans, he sat up on the sofa and scratched the side of his nose. “Why are you here? Looking for me?”
It wasn’t that she wanted to bug him all the time, but she couldn’t help herself at times. She was working on a few projects for herself and heard he was in the studio and couldn’t pass up the chance to bother the other. The sight of him sitting up from what looked like would be the making of a good nap, Soo plopped next to him on the sofa, her head resting on his shoulders. A drawn out sigh slipped through her lips as she patted the bottoms of her shoes against the ground.
“I’m bored. I think I’ve hit a creative block in everything. I’ve been here since before sun was awake it feels like. What are you working on?” She mused aloud, looking over at the scattered papers on the soundboard. It seemed like the pair were always working and that was never good for the mind or body.
