September 17, 2020: Two Layer Gradient Oh my! This came out so well! It's just gorgeous! I love it so much! So so much! And it's pretty easy to do. You just have to make absolutely sure that the vinyls are stuck down well, or you will get the second layer's colors under it and the edges won't be clean. It's a lot easier with some vinyls than others. It's mainly a shape thing. And you have to make sure that the different layers are dry before moving on to the next. so it can be time consuming waiting for it all to dry. I don't mean the sponging, you can sponge on the same colored layers when they are still a bit tacky. But wait before using the top coat layers or new color layers. October 29, 2019: French Tips Month: Dipped into Glitter Well this came out pretty ok. Not quite what I wanted, but super close. I really like how close the colors are, so it's just a hint of a tip with glitter. Just make sure that you dip while the polish is still wet, don;t let it dry or it won't stick. And I did put a gel top coat on it, because texture. Ew. I not usually one for bling, and this is probably as big as I'll ever get (you watch, now I'm going to go super big bling, just you wait!). I'm getting more into powders and glitter, so why not try gems and whatnot! But yeah. I'm not sure what I was expecting with the "Nail Glue". I was pretty sure it was going to be builder gel when I bought it, so I wasn't sure why I was surprised at the thickness of it. It probably really is exactly the same stuff that's in their little pink tub labeled Nail Glue as well. And you know what? That's fine, it works pretty well for my purposes. Maybe it'll work well enough to bling out some nails for sales!
