Heres a tutorial I found on how to remove gel nail polish safely and effectively. I usually use my thumb nail to scratch off the gel polish after the 10 min acetone/foil/cotton soak. Its super easy and should be damage free to your nails. Also during the soaking process I watch my favorite TV shows or something to keep me occupied. The longer you keep them on the better.
