[image id: a drawing in pinks of a hyena monster. Her muzzle is open and smushed against the ground, showing off her teeth and gums. Her tongue is hanging out and drooling. One scarred breast is pressed against the ground and she has one paw raised dramatically.]

A landscape establishing shot from my senior thesis-- I’ll be running streams this week to get everything wrapped up for when it’s due in under 2 weeks!
[image id: A shot from high above of a walled city at sunset, showcasing the tower gates. The scene is painted in blocky chunks of terracottas, pinks, dark blues and purples.]

Tomorrow is the day that I drop my senior thesis, a.k.a. the first section of my historical-fantasy animated webcomic!
Here's a sneak peek at what's incoming-- Museum exhibits! Animated panels! Byzantine architecture! And helpful advice on the edibility of different objects!
[image id 1: Title card, "Excerpts from the exhibit, 'Fashion of the Archaean Medium", as presented at The Museum of Erial-Archaean History". Then two illustrations in orange and blue with captions on a black background. The first shows several intricate pieces of jewelry, captioned, "Silver was believed to attract holy spirits." The second is several glass and ceramic vessels, captioned, "Cosmetics of the time were used to enhance a sense of mystery."]
[image id 2: Three panels of a person climbing out a window. In the first, they are peering over the edge suspiciously; in the second, hauling themselves up with a 'hup', and in the third, they hit their elbow on the sill with a 'thwack' and overbalance.]
[image id 3: A large introductory shot of a marketplace with several stalls, again in a warmly lit Byzantine city. There are people milling about as well as several kinds of animals, some of which look neon and unnatural. The lizard-creature from the previous image is on top of one of the stalls, talking to the person perusing the wares, saying "You can't eat that." In the second panel, the view is from inside the stall, and we can see the person saying, "This is a food place, no?" to which the lizard replies, "That's raw food. You need to cook it first, stupid."]
[image id 4: Three long narrow panels- the first showing someone's feet as they're running, with the lizard-like creature from previous images on their heels; the second showing their nervous eyes as they look over one shoulder; the third showing several oranges they're clutching to their chest. Then there is a large zoomed out panel showing the gates of a walled city at sunset, with a tiny figure of a person running out the gates.]
something’s kinda wrong with her, huh?
[image id: a pink sketch of a wild-eyed hyena-esque monster curled in a ball, stepping on her own head. She has a wild mane of hair that her claws are stuck in and two large cuts above her left breast dripping blood down her chest.]

have a panel from today's work on my senior thesis that has satisfying anatomy
[image id: a diagonal panel, framed in black, close up on the legs of a person getting up from a kneeling position. They have bare feet with rings and anklets, and fancy embroidered hems to their tunic. They are grabbing a decorated rod off the ground with one hand. A transluscent lizard-like creature is climbing up their leg.]

very excited to finally be digging into the actual illustration process for my senior thesis!! i missed working with colors 8^3
[image id: a color shot of Sterling falling out a window. They're upside-down, pulling themselves through, and have hit their elbow on the frame with a red THWACK. The window grate is hanging askew over the brick wall.]
