You just got an old car and it doesn’t have Bluetooth. You can only buy seven cds and you can’t repeat an artist. What are you getting?
Funnily enough I have an old-ish car that does not really have bluetooth (or, to be more precise, does have bluetooth but it's quite complicated to work with lol), BUT at least it has an aux cable opening. Yay! It also has a cd player, so I actually have a few cds in the car at al times :)
1. Teatro D'Amore - L'Arpeggiata
I have been yapping about "Ohimè, ch'io cado" quite a bit, but the entire album is a success. Monteverdi fucks, the song choices are great and the arrangement, too. No skips for me! Also includes "Zefiro torna", which always makes me go a bit feral
2. Fra' Diavolo - Accordone, Marco Beasley & Guiseppe de Vittorio
Marco Beasley is my favorite singer ever, so choosing just one album where he's featured was pretty difficult. That being said, there are quite a few bangers on this album, and I needed "Sona a battenti" to be on it. The two tenors also duet on "'O Guarracino". It slays it's fun it makes me want to visit Naples 🤝🤝
3. Everblacks - Georg Kreisler
It's cunt, it's Kult, it's Kreisler.
4. At the Royal Festival Hall (Live) - Mary O'Hara
An Irish harpist and singer, started out with folk songs but broadened her repertoire, as we can hear here. Great singer, nice arrangements, and I like her little introductions :)
5. kannatused ehk külakiigel pole stopperit - 5MIINUST & Puuluup
Surprised myself with this one. Perfect for driving, though.
6. Die lustige Witwe - Franz Léhar
I've been obsessed with that operetta since I first saw it a while ago. I love the characters and story - this version's Hanna Glawari stands out, I think.
7. Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day (Motion Picture Soundtrack) - Paul Englishby
Love the film, and sometimes you just need a bit of swing and jazz 🤝
