24. Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?

Gai has always has an interest in science, especially as it applies to the human body and the effects of radiation, mostly due to a personal investment in it. However, he’s also quite talented with music.

28. Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?

Gai would probably say Jiiya is the closest to him, although both Kai and Yuto are both close to him. He doesn’t really have a worst enemy.

35. What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time?

Gai doesn’t really do much to waste time, but he has picked up a fondness for gardening, and would probably say that playing the piano is his least productive activity.

43. How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education?

Gai is currently in college as a pre-med student. He’s had a very good formal education, one of the best money can buy. However, he is aware that not everyone has had his advantages, and understands that everyone learns differently. He believes that people should learn how they learn best.

47. If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?

Gai wouldn’t say that he has an ideal, but someone who accepts him as he is, with all his oddities, and loves him for him would be the only thing he asks for in a partner.

48. How do they express love?

Gai tends to express love the hand-made things. He will make a lunch or something small for someone he cares about. Also, he will be more willing to share things about himself that he doesn’t normally tell people.

49. If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?

Gai was trained to defend himself by his father, so he knows what he’s doing. Plus, the inherited side-effects of the Birdonic radiation gives him more strength, increases his speed and gives him faster reflexes. Both factors make him a difficult opponent. He also has the analytical ability to adjust his fighting style to his opponent. However, he’s not fond of fighting, and will try to avoid confrontation as much as possible. If he has to fight, he will try to finish the fight as soon as possible. So while he has the physical endurance for a longer fight, mentally, he will probably get impatient the longer the fight stretches on.

High School AU

Deep breath... Tsuki leaned against the wall next to the sliding door that lead into his new classroom. New school, new life. Thanks to his father and his sister, here he was at a new school. He didn’t want to be here. None of his friends were here and the last thing he wanted to do was start over again. He knew why he was here, but he didn’t have to like it. Hopefully, he could just stick to himself and pass his classes... or that’s what his family would want to have happen, but the itch was always there. He wasn’t a wuss. He’d find a place for himself, even if he had to fight for it, no matter what. “Before we begin, I have good news. We have a transfer student. Usami-san?” There it was. The teacher announced him to the class. Sighing, Tsuki got up off the wall and entered the room. Time to face his class. Hopefully, there would be a good fighter in there somewhere. As he stood before the class, he heard some whispers about him and his looks. First impressions, huh? Deep breath... Smile... “My name is Usami Tsuki. Nice to meet you.”

9. Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.

It depends. Usually dreams are desires or wishes we want, so if something pretty exciting happened, Ian might have a dream. The nightmares are usually about how he’s losing his team, something connected with Shiro or just a bloody scene. 

One of his dreams. How Shiro meets his new family. It was a nice dream, he didn’t want to wake up.

11. What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like?

He’s born Christian. Not really into his religion. He believes that humanity can evolve but it’ll take time. Sometimes he prays,that happends really rarely. Don’t count the “Oh God” phrase, of course.

21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?

To bring back Shiro.

To take his team to a trip.

Make everyone he knows and cherishes happy.

28. Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?

Kind of, yes. Any regrets.. I don’t think so. 

30. Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why?

Hmm. I would say shortcakes. Or maybe panini. And drink coffee.

5. What are their chief tension areas?

Wata doesn’t get tense much, but when he does, it’s in his neck and shoulders. Zuchi gets it more commonly, but in the same areas. Futsu’s neck is his main area, but unless he gives you explicit permission, don’t touch his neck. Mika and Hi both get focus on their shoulders. Nesaku’s shoulders and back are his problem areas. Ihasaku’s shoulders are his. Ume gets tense all over all the time, but Uwo, once it’s built up, gets the most tension in his neck. Kura’s lower back and shoulders bug him from time to time. Zuha’s just got problems with his lower back, and Tsumi’s neck bothers her.

6. If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why?

…. I will put this on hold until I have an answer for any of them… I will mention Hanasanaide Ai for reasons of association, but I wouldn’t say it’s a descriptive song for any of them…

28. Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?

Death is not an easy thing for any of them to achieve, but given where they came from, they all have certainly a respect for death. Zuchi, Futsu, and Wata have more apprehension than the others, and Tsumi isn’t afraid at all.

Wata regrets not either going with or stopping Zuchi. Zuchi regrets not spending more time with his siblings. Futsu regrets not insisting on taking the full blame for his interference. Mika regrets helping the court of Amaterasu and not going with Hi, who regrets not insisting she come with him to help the humans. Nesaku regrets the choices that led to his current memory issues. Ihasaku regrets letting Futsu go to war. Ume and Uwo regret losing control in that village, and Uwo sometimes regrets his oath. Kura regrets separating from Zuha and Tsumi. Zuha regrets listening to Kura when he told them to leave. Sometimes, Tsumi regrets going to Yomi.

“WHO SAYS I WANT TO GET MARRIED?”

“I don’t…. really have many friends… I suppose it depends. There are some things I won’t do, but I guess a true friend would never ask me to do those things so….”

neptune:how much do mood swings outwardly and inwardly affect you?

“It… depends on the mood swing. If it’s sudden, and especially if it’s negative, and I didn’t see it coming, it can cause me to lose control. That’s true of any of us.”
