Literally how do I write philip discovering he's gay? I want to do the accidental kiss with a guy. Because I got it from song of achilles but that feels basic...

Like you know in the 1600s that's not allowed, You can't be gay. So obviously philip is going to believe he's straight. He's going to grow up, get married and have children. That's his plan even though he hasn't found a single woman attractive. So maybe he just need "the one". He's best friends with a guy named Nakamo, super close, philip stare at him for too long, gets embarrassed when he sees him naked Blah blah blah. Those are clear signs, but I know philip is going to be delusional with it. I need to give him a breaking point.
