Nakeup Face Stress 0 Toner Review

Product. This is a toner by Korean brand Nakeup Face (I got mine from Yesstyle). It’s either meant to be applied using a cotton pad as a cleansing step or can be patted into the skin for moisture. I personally use this with a cotton pad as a last step in my cleansing routine. This lives up to it’s “Stress 0″ name as it has no acne-causing or irritating ingredients (non-comedogenic). 

My experience. I don’t have much to say about this toner as, to me, it’s everything it claims to be. It’s truly a lightweight toner that is refreshing and balancing and it doesn’t irritate my dry, acne-prone skin. 

Recommendations. I honestly recommend this as a great basic everyday toner for all skin types and skin concerns. There are so many toners out there that do this and that, whether it’s fighting acne or chemical exfoliation, and those are great and all and they all have their own purpose, but I think this toner is great for anyone who just wants a basic toner that won’t irritate their skin or break them out. That is, this toner is going to be refreshing and balancing and won’t cause you any problems, but it also likely won’t do anything amazing like cure your acne or even-out your scarring, if you get what I mean. So, maybe you don’t have any major skin issues and just want a simple, natural skincare routine to maintain your skin—this toner might be great for you. Or maybe you do have skin issues like acne and just want an everyday toner to use alongside your more potent, active products—this toner may also be for you. This toner may also be great for those with extremely sensitive skin and who breakout easily. Ultimately, if you’re looking for a basic toner that has a clean, short ingredient list that won’t irritate your skin, I definitely recommend this one. It’s versatile too, as it can be used as a cleansing step or as an added layer of moisture (you can pat it in with your hands or put it in a spray bottle etc.). The large size is also a bonus for anyone like me that’s on a budget and is trying to get skincare that lasts!

Their STRESS 0 Toner is designed with safe and mild ingredients to soothe sensitive skin with moisture. The toner has a pH balance of 5.0. The toner contains 500 ml (16.9 oz) and has a slight scent of salt water.

The toner has a squeeze top and has no artificial colorants or scents.

The toner is slightly tacky but also absorbs very quickly.

It's a very hydrating toner.

The toner evens out skin tone.

Recommended use is to take an appropriate amount on a cotton pad, and smoothly wipe the skin to absorb. After using, I think this is an amazing toner for any skin type. There's no artificial additives or colorants and it's extremely safe on sensitive skin. It doesn't dry out the skin or cause any irritation and it's pH balanced and really removes excess dirt from the skin. The ingredients are simple and there are no overwhelming fragrances. The downside is that this product can be prone to leaking a little bit but otherwise it's a great product that should last a long time cause there's a lot in the bottle.

What I like: there's nothing irritating in the ingredients and it's non-drying. There's no fragrances or colorants and the ingredient list is also very simple. It removes excess dirt and has a pH balance of 5.0. There's also a lot of product in the bottle and it should last a long time. What I don't like: nothing really, except that it can be prone to leaking.

The ampoule contains 33 ml (1.11 oz) and doesn't have any discernable fragrance.

The packaging is a very sturdy glass and it has a really nice pump.

The ampoule has a thick but watery consistency.

The texture is very gel-like and it's very sticky.

It absorbs quickly but leaves a very sticky finish. It's amazing for dry skin.

Recommended use is after toning skin, apply moderate amount gently according to the skin texture. After using, this ampoule is very easy to apply and is extremely hydrating and moisturizing. The ingredients are very interesting and I think this is a great ampoule to put on before applying makeup. My skin felt very plump and hydrated after applying and I didn’t notice any irritation like I sometimes get after using something like salicylic acid or glycolic acid. It’s extremely gentle and I think it’s suitable for sensitive skin. The packaging is very high quality and the pump works like a dream. It’s a very unique product, I would recommend this mainly to people with dry skin.

What I like: the ingredients are very unique to anything I've used before and the ampoule is very moisturizing. I like how plump my skin looks and feels and how deeply hydrating it is. The texture is super sticky, which I love and it really has long-lasting effects. I also love how gentle it is and how it doesn't cause any irritation. I think it's also lovely for sensitive skin and I love the packaging. What I don't like: nothing really, I really liked it.

The One Night Cushion is a sunscreen-free product, so SPF should be applied underneath, this is also a good thing for flash photography. The cushion has two shades: #01 Ivory Nude and #02 Beige Nude. This particular cushion is #02 and this shade suits MAC NC25 or in most other BB creams, #23 Natural Beige. This shade does tend to have a more neutral look, not too warm or too cool.

The cushion comes with a puff, a big mirror and 14 grams (0.49 oz) of the foundation. The foundation has a slightly herbal kind of scent but it's not too strong.

The compact is very sturdy hard plastic and it really is beautiful packaging.

As you can see, the finish is pretty natural and not too heavy or cakey. The left side has the cushion and the right does not.

The coverage is, of course, more natural so you'll require multiple layers/concealer to cover any major blemishes.

The finish is, of course, dewy and it really makes you look like you've been drinking the best kind of water always.

Recommended use is to apply onto puff and gently dab onto cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin from the inside to the outside along skin texture. After using, I found this cushion to look just like my skin, it really was lovely to see and to wear. The cushion has a light herbal, essential oily scent and is this cushion is ideal for dry skin. It contains a lot of good ingredients, including some essential oils. If you have oily or combination skin this cushion will require a lot of dabbing to remove excess oil. It's important to exfoliate and moisturize really well before using this cushion as it can show off some dry patches no matter how dewy it is. I also made sure to apply plenty of sunscreen underneath the cushion too. This cushion has a pretty good wear time of about 8 hours and it never feels too heavy or greasy in my opinion.

What I like: this cushion is so light and natural, I feel like it's wearable anytime, night or day. The ingredients are really quite nice and give the cushion a nice herbal scent and it's extremely comfortable to wear for any amount of time. The dewy finish really makes my skin look so healthy and well taken care of. It has a pretty long lasting time of 8+ hours and the color match of the #02 shade is really very good. What I don't like: while I actually don't mind, it is a little weird that this doesn't contain any sunscreen and that could be an issue for some people. You should make sure to exfoliate and adequately moisturize your skin before using because even though this cushion is dewy, it still shows some dry patches.
