This will be the first time he’s celebrating his name-day a) away from home and b) without his twin sister and that is weighing very heavily on his mind -- he can’t even wish her well or send a gift let alone see her and it’s killing him inside.
For the most part of this day though he isn’t going to be moping but quite the opposite, as a national practice of course he is fantastic at wearing a mask and will be hiding these sorrows with excitement and uncharacteristic happiness because the last thing he wants is for people to be asking what’s wrong? He’ll be parading around Skyhold like a well groomed peacock, cheekier than usual and probably more demanding than usual. It’s all a way to stop him really from thinking about Susanna and home.
