John coughed and sputtered, hands desperately clawing at those which held him around the neck, then screaming weakly in the immediate pain from the beating.  He coughed into the dirt, rolling onto his back with a hiss.  "Wh...what? What are you doing, are you insane? Your turf?"

"I.... what?"  John blinked up at the man, face looking horrified as he hesitated, then stood.  "I'm afraid I value them greatly, in rather the position and condition they are presently in. ... Have I said something to bother you?"

They play their character amazingly, this word doesn’t even do it justice on how freaking IC they are. It’s so IC that I swear it was Charles vain himself behind the screen. I was RPing with Theanimeuswalker (their partner) and my character shot theirs. (still feel that was ooc on my part but oh well.) I was so scared of what the Charles muse might do to mine that I messaged them OOC stating that I love their blog and character and begged them them to not have their muse come kill mine. I wish I was kidding. but I still meant what I said to them. I’ve not spoken OOC to them though, other then that one message I sent lol.

I’m friends with the mun and they play a lot of wonderful characters. I love OC’s, exceptional when they are well thought out, have character flaws and a decent backstory to them. You can tell some thought was put into Madelines character and a bonus to me is when the character is there for plots and not just to find someone to smut with. I like watching a character build relationships with people and the two urls above have been quite entertaining to watch.

"Compassion is highly overrated in my book but I guess he be doin' a fine job with his men. Maybe he's too soft with 'em at times--" Vane wasn't really focused on the crew anymore but the man before him. "He saved you before?"

He laughed. “He might have saved me from getting a knife in my back during a bar fight but it’s he, who owes me his life. We’ve not been soft on our men but neither have they given us reason to me harsh either.”

"Indeed, it’s a welcoming change. We’ve found that crew members are more likely to be loyal if you’ve saved them from death unlike most recruitment methods, were you go to a tavern and find people looking for work. Ofcourse it’s more risky but it’s paid off so far."
