♟ :A close call to being killed yourself

Oh there have been a few... one wrong trip through the Ways into a pack of Salamanders was rather recent.

Then there was that nest of wumpus cats. And the hoops snake venom... 

Just about blew myself up once, trying to make potions. Gave myself some nasty poisoning when I did too.

And that one time some bastard thought he could take me on. I don't care he was vanilla, shoot me and I'll shoot you right back.

Lake/Yumi

and i’ll also tell you who:

proposes: Neither, they’re both young and not really worried about commitment, though Lake might get them matching rings just because

shops for groceries: Lake, with input from Yumi

kills the spiders: Neither, Lake either rescues them to outside or leaves them be if they are small

comes home drunk at 3am: Both of them

makes breakfast: Yumi, she can cook well and Lake will stay in bed as long as possible

remembers to feed the fish: Lake

decorates the apartment: Yumi, she has a strong aesthetic sense and Lake likes it

initiates duets: Uh, good question, let’s say Yumi

falls asleep first: Yumi, she has the skill where she can grab sleep wherever whenever, Lake is a bit jealous of this.

sends the most selfies: Yumi, and they are usually selfies taken in dangerous or death defying places, like the top of bridges or mountain tops. Lake will usually send a picture of the nice safe solid ground in response to getting one of those from Yumi.

makes the first move: Yumi, though Lake likes to try and get the jump on Yumi when she can

plans spontaneous trips: Lake, she likes to travel and has a good grasp of the Ways.

"No, you're dressing up as Santa this year for the kids."

Lake cocked a skeptical eyebrow at Yumi.

"I think the children will notice that Santa is vertically challenged if I dress up like him.  In fact, I don't think they make Santa outfits in my size.  I know this one would require another person sitting on my shoulders to fit. Sooo," Lake gave a over the top tragic sigh and handed the costume back to Yumi, "guess you'll be wearing it. Drat and darn."  She gave the taller woman a grin.

"Either that or we track down someone else to wear it."
