         Growing up alone amid the mountains of sand on JAKKU, all Rey had ever wanted was a family of her own. Her family. The one that she had lost and would reclaim one day. While who she was still shrouded in mystery, her life no longer lacked human connections. She had made friends, people who truly cared about her, and she in turn was willing to lay down her life for them. And one of them had nearly done the same for her. FINN: brave, loyal Finn who had somehow survived a lightsaber strike to the back. As much as she wanted to be there for her friend and track his healing progress, things were far from settled on the Kylo-Ren front. She had to find Luke, and she had to find him S O O N. That just meant that she had to leave everyone behind, a fact that Rey carried with a heavy heart as she headed towards the infirmary. She made an effort to visit her friend, and this time she regretted telling him she had to go. Hands fidgeting with the new vest she had been provided for her journey, the once scavenger hung near the edge of the bed that her friend had been recovering on.
