It’s been a long time since ness took you, but recently he noticed that you were starting to behave differently.

You would start your own conversations, reply to him, and do it all with a warm smile on your face.

He also noticed that, at times, you would follow him around like a lost dog, peeping over his shoulder when he was doing something, as if you could barely function without his presence.

He questioned it severely because, before, you would look at him with a blank stare, even ignore him or act cold toward him. Was it because of him? Had his obsession finally rubbed off on you? Were you manipulating him? Did he break you? Ness went through a spiral. He was unsure how to feel.

Although he had endless questions, he loved seeing you act as if you needed him. He loved seeing your warm smile every time you were around him. He loved how you didn't complain anymore when he put handcuffs on you.

It didn't even matter to him if you were broken or if it was because of Stockholm syndrome—he just wanted you.

He knew it was wrong. Sure, he's selfish, but it made him feel so loved.

One evening, you and he were watching a movie together. You sat close to him. Anyone would look and think you two were genuinely dating, but the bolts and locks on the doors and windows would tell an entirely different story.

The TV was playing softly, but Ness blocked it out. What he was really focused on was you. He secretly kept his eyes on you, faintly glancing at you every now and then.

He then noticed your eyes closing one by one. You seemed drowsy and were soon going to fall asleep.

He seemed to notice, glancing at you. He was going to ask if you wanted to sleep when, suddenly, you carefully laid your head down on his lap.

"O-oh!" he stammered.

His entire body froze.

You had never done this before. It's like you were a whole different person.

"Tired," you murmured.

"I see..." he said, Staring down at you as a faint flush appeared on his cheeks.

His hand hesitated before reaching up to your hair and gently combing through it.

He stared at you with a warm, wide smile. He didn't mind this at all. He loves you the same as when you were cold to him, the same as when he brought you here, and the same as now.

So this changes nothing at all.

Whether your smile was genuine or forced, it didn't matter.

After all, you were here.

With him.

By his side.

And that's the only thing that mattered.

The air was heavy and warm. In fact, anyone who walked in would feel it. The air was suffocating and thick, but not as overwhelming as the whimpers coming from the man wrapped around your hand.

“Murrrhhgh…”

“Schatz... you—haah...”

The man before you couldn't even finish his sentence. The man before you was none other than Alexis Ness.

Just before this, you had found him fisting himself in your bed, getting off just from being in your presence. After hearing his moans and whimpers, you decided to help him finish.

You were between his sweat-dampened thighs, stroking him up and down. You looked up.

Ness had his head thrown back, his teeth clenched together as he tried to suppress an agonizingly loud moan. On top of that, he was twitching like crazy, and tears were forming in his eyes. Maybe it was because of the pleasure, or maybe it was from trying so hard to hold back his moans. Or maybe it was both. It was like he hadn't been touched in years.

“You're doing so good for me, Ness...” you said as you quickened your pace.

“Y-yeah...?” He threw his head forward at the sudden change in pace, his breathing growing even faster. He could've come right then and there.

“I-I'm... I'm a good boy, right...?” he asked desperately.

Damn, he was so needy.

After hearing no response, he whined and opened his eyes slightly. “Please, baby—I mrggh!”

Instead of answering, you quickened your pace. His hands came up to grip your hair. He went from teary-eyed to full-on crying. He needed your praise so badly. On top of that, you were making him feel so good.

“P-please, baby... hic... c-can I please come? I can't—!”

“Not yet. You're a good boy, so you'll listen to me.”

Oh God, he practically melted when you said that.

“Oh God... y-yes, I am... fu-fuck... it's too much.”

You circled his tip with your thumb, and his eyes started to roll back as tears streamed down his face.

“Fuck, Schatz... can I please come now? Please, I promise I'll be good, I—”

He kept rambling, begging for his release and saying things that didn't even make sense. He was absolutely fucked up.

“Go on. Come now, Ness.”

That was all he needed to hear before he came all over your fist, dripping down and sticking to your fingers.

You would've thought he needed time to come down from his high, but instead, he immediately leaned down to hug you, whispering praises into your ear. :)

today you were not as lucky as the last encounters.

you've weaved and evaded many pirate ships but one certain one always had the closest encounters. captain micheal kaiser he would shoot down nets as you swim faster and faster but suddenly haulted to a stop at the sound of one of your best merman friends. ness wasn't close behind you anymore. you looked up to see ness hanging from the net slightly scrunched up with his fins hagning out from the holes of the net,

that little reaction was all kaiser needed.

he shot the net down onto and his crew pulled you up quickly you looked around and saw ness against one of the polls of the ship still in the net, and breathing slowly "y/n? i thought you would have escaped..." his face had many emotions, anger, sadness and tons of self disapointment

you looked around at the ship. it wasnt very hard to know exactly whos ship it was fron the red roses painted all around the ship like vines. "kaiser.." you choked out fuming with rage as he had a stupid little smirk on his face. "wooow crew! lookie who it is!" he laughed and his crew joined him.

expect for one, a swabbie who was cleaning up. isagi yoichi. isagi despised kaiser deeply. wanting to be his own pirate. but he didnt have anything near enough to afford one. so he joined the first crew he could find yet to his utter disapointment his captain was a doche bag. "its not even funny." he mumbled under his breath and the whole ship went silent like a giant blanket over it.

"what did ya say swabbie..?" captain kaiser asked amused expect him to not repeat it.

"i think you know what i said captain. its not funny. its banned to hunt mermaids." he said looking straight into kaisers eyes

you looked at isagi with hope just wanting him to throw you and ness of this stupid ship ship right now. "hes right! its illegal!andyoucangetyourshiptakenawayifyoubreaktherule-" you spoke all in one breath quickly to try and get your point across before he cut you off

"do you think i care mermaid... ive been hunting you weeks! you and him." he looked down at ness before walking over and bending down in front of you with an odd grin "your a real pretty mermaid, and a good one too" you looked slightly confused at the last comment "good?" you asked. and he answered. "premium scales its hard to find one with a perfect ombre like yours" he grabbed your fin before continuing ".. great eyes... rare color" he looked over at ness

"your not to shabby either boy." he looked over at ness before walking away from you both and making a hand gesture

before you knew it you were threw into the bottom of his ship with ness

Barou Shoei who's the most arrogant, egotistical, annoying, cocky bastard you've ever met—unfortunately, you love him for that—and many who know deeply worry for you.

Your dear boyfriend, who emphasizes himself as the greatest, is feared yet looked up to by many. Though, whether the demeanor of his bystanders are positive or not, their existence will never be acknowledged, except for you. You're the only one who the King tolerates and he reminds you every second of that factor. It's surprising how you can put up with him and how he can put up with you—seriously—why are you even with a dude like him?

He's blunt and truthful, a true anti for sugarcoating. We like an honest man but doesn't it get too harsh? Not for you, because deep down, Barou is the most caring, touching, most loving man ever and nobody can top that title.

What people do not see are the drags of his knuckles against your skin and the way he lifts the back of his hand up and down your spine. At the moment, Barou caresses you, the pads of his fingers repeating its pattern of tender circles. Surprisingly (and always), he treats your body like you're holy water, as if you're an embodiment of a portal, rippling and alluring; all he could do is meld into you. You could fuse with him at any moment by the way your chest lays against his, both of your hearts beating with one another.

And your head? It nuzzles deep in his neck, whiffing the lingering fragrance of the cold outdoors, his sweat, the shampoo from last night, and his balm.

"Shoei, do you ever think about what other people think of us—or you?" you ask, eyes still focusing on your phone.

Barou inhales deeply and kisses his teeth.

"No," he simply says.

You drag your chin back and lift your head to fully face him, "Really?"

"I don't give a damn." Barou mutters, clearly lacking interest in such matters.

He grunts, slightly repositioning his neck on the edge of the couch's armrest, this posture poking out his double chin. Phone in his right hand, his left continues traveling along your spine. Your cheek slumps back onto his chest.

"Do your friends even know I exist?" you squint at him.

Barou shrugs, humming out a guttural "I don't know."

He immediately catches your eye roll at his indifference. Barou grasps the attitude, hitting it right back with a meaner eye roll. He finally looks at you after years of doomscrolling.

"What?" he spits.

Out of instinct and act of protection, his palm quickly hovers your back when you shift upwards, straddling his hips.

"Do people even know that I'm your partner? Do they think about me at all?" you ask desperately, crossing your arms.

"Why the hell would I let people think about you." Barou deadpans, not really a question.

You huff, bummed out. You hear the soft thud of his phone lazily being dropped on the couch.

You point, "You know what I mean—"

"What're you talking about?" Barou mumbles, rubbing his eye.

Big hands come down to grip on your waist, slightly tightening around your skin. A quick mewl slips past your lips as you come back down to his mean face. Being the clingiest one in the relationship, you coddle his head and bug him with hard pecks.

"Mm- everyone must know that I love you and that you're loved~" you sing, dragging your ducks lips across his face.

"But I know." Barou emphasizes with no expression like in every other conversation.

"Yes you know... but I want the whole world to know." you reply quickly.

Once again, you lift your torso up and discreetly trail a finger to his collar. His eyes deeply squint at you, not hiding the intent to read your mind. A face like this could kill many but you're used to it; it's a daily thing.

You tap softly and hum, "Say it."

"Say what?" Barou raises a brow.

"You know what."

He scoffs, wanting to throw you off his hips. His nails practically pierced into the waistband of your jeans. His face furrows in a gentle frustration, as if this king could ever get shy. There's not an ounce of pink tint, of course. Regardless, if anybody saw him with such a vulnerable expression, they'd be shot on sight.

"Do I have to remind you every damn second?" Barou mutters.

"Shoei!" you yelp, wanting to rip the words of endearment out of him.

It is a fun game to tug his strings to get something you want. Deep down, you know what will be the answer—you always do. If someone were to ask you about something you know about Barou, the immediate answer would be that he loves you. No, nobody would believe it at first.

And no, he does not need to tell you every breath you take when you know that his care shows more than what he barks. Especially by the way he lets you sit on top of him; you can feel the slow creep of his hands making it under your shirt. No lingering of his are stronger than words. Anybody else would be thrown into the pitch full of lions.

"I love you." your boyfriend says, blank and quiet.

Smiling ear to ear, you bump his head and smother your mouth all over him. Easy, just like that.

"Agh fuck—" Barou hisses from the hit, quickly pinching your sides.

You let out a tight squeak, a sharp pain hitting your senses as you tweak back and curl your body. Short, breathy giggles fill the living room air, the atmosphere tense with a tickling competition. Each gasp earns a bite from Barou's sharp fangs as he plays along with your tackles. He nibbles on your nose, cheek, then shoulder. Nobody would even imagine this, not even the strongest paparazzi.

"Shoei—!" you dive into a stern tone, "—okay, your teammates do need a proper introduction from me."

"Fine." he mutters.
