Hi~~ your blog really is heaven! I'm currently replaying Zestiria again and I think I hang out wayyy too much on your blog when I'm not on the ps... So deep in Tales hell ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ A while ago you posted a selfie in your awesome shepherd skirt. I couldn't help but notice your phone case. I've been looking for a similar one (either Sorey or Jude inspired) and I just wanted to ask, is yours the official or did you make it? How is the phone attached to it, since it can be folded out like that?

My phone case is an official one; it’s the usual wallet style phone case, and it’s the super super super hard to find Sorey/Mikleo Tales of Zestiria the X one that was release August last year. I know it was on sale in Japan at the actual Bamco character stand shops (if I recall from the announcement months ago) and for some reason, it’s just nearly impossible to find online - I was stalking eBay, Yahoo Auctions Japan!, and Amazon.co.jp for it before I got lucky and found mine. As you can see from the post there, the case is designed with Sorey’s Shepherd cloak on one side, Mikleo’s tunic design on the other, with a book spine for the side. There’s a small 2 inch by 2 inch-ish sized flap on the inside with a sticky adhesive surface to attach my phone, which is a regular size iPhone 6 (and it’s a really nice perfect fit). I adore this phone case (for obvious reasons) and even just looking at it makes me smile with happy OTP feels. =D

I haven’t actually seen it since, so either the phone case is super popular and sold out and everyone’s hanging onto theirs, or it was made in limited quantities and everyone who wanted one got theirs. It’s one of those pieces of merch I’ve literally never seen up for auction or on any of my usual online anime merch websites, so if you’re looking for it, best of luck to you! Otherwise, it does look like they’ve re-released the Sorey themed phone case that was originally sold from last year’s TalesFes, and they also released one themed after Jude’s Xillia 1 costume this year, and I’m showing both as currently up for preorder over at CDJapan and AmiAmi, so you might want to check those out!

Thank you so much for your answer! It was really helpful :D Now I know where to start! Oh they rereleased the individual cases from TalesFes?? I LOVED THOSE *__* Do you know if they also have the sticky flap inside? The thing is, I don't have an iPhone but my phone has almost the same measurements (it differs only by 1mm on one side) and the camera would probably be blocked if it works as the usual perfect fit case. Sorry for bombarding you with questions but google sensei was of no help :(((

The TalesFes individual cases have a sticky pad on the inside that slides up/down to allow the camera to peek out over the top so you can still use it to take a picture. If your phone’s camera is on top of the phone, like within the first 2-3 cm of the top edge, you should still be able to use the camera with one of the TalesFes individual cases.

Thank you thank you thank you!! You have no idea how much this helps me! I spoke to another about this but he thought it was part of a magazine, so that's where I've been looking for it. It was all wrong then, but now I know where to look, finally! :D One more question though: is it one big pamphlet with both the character info and the seiyuu pics or is it two separate ones?

Hello~! Thank you so much for sharing the scans from the SnK movie pamphlet~ I've been looking all over the place for it.. Do you mind if I ask where you got it? Or if you know where to get it; is it even possible online? I'd kill for a copy myself... (the pic with the seiyuus in the uniform is k i l l i n g m e). Anyway, thanks again for sharing :D

I got it in japan while I was on my trip! Unfortunately, I don’t think you can get it anywhere besides the theaters in japan… but ebay and amazon usually has people that sell stuff like this so I would check there just in case! (and omg yes i wasn’t expecting those photos when i got the pamphlet so it was a very nice surprise)
