Petra looked at him through the window. There he was, the man she chose to protect, the one God let her look after, THE Erwin. The man was always so diligent in his work- very responsible and productive. If only she could speak to him again.
Erwin sat at his desk scrawling on the piece of paper that was before him. He was planning for their next trip outside the wall. They may have taken a heavy loss when they went outside the walls the last time, but he knew this time that his plan would probably would work better. There was no Female Titan to kill his soldiers with her intelligence.
Erwin looked up from his desk and looked out his windows into the distance as he thought about all that happen when they were outside of the wall. They had a lot of good soldiers die.
He was so lost in his thoughts that he almost jumped when he heard a knock on the door. "Erwin, it's time to go," Levi said as he peeked into his office.
"Alright, I'm coming. Just give me a second to gather my notes," Erwin replied.
"Tch. You were doing all of this up to the last minute. Let me help you collect it or we will be here for most of the day," Levi said as he grabbed some of the papers and organized them into a neat pile.
"It won't take that long to collect it," Erwin said as he scooped up the rest of the papers, "See? We can head out now."
Levi and Erwin headed to the door having little idea that someone might actually be watching them.
