Another mission, another order from Her Majesty. At this case, something like this should never be ignored, especially if it worries the Queen. The faster the Queen’s watchdog solves this problem, the better. But it seems like these day the young Earl’s motto was; save the weak, be feared by the powerful. As arrogant as he is, being under the Queen’s control makes him that way, but of course he tends to hide that. But what the sapphire eyed Earl found odd was the way the demon had tried to avoid Undertaker. Ciel didn’t blame the demon, it seems that every encounter with Undertaker makes the demon even more agitated, but why?
His dainty fingers gripped the ornate cane that was in his hand, the chilling wind caressing his cheeks. Feeling a shiver run down his spine, it almost felt like a million of tiny hands tickled his spine. He furrowed his brows as he walked along the empty street and down the alley, the demon following behind him like a shadow. And it seemed that the Earl was at the edge, anxious as if something else was watching him -- it was a constant feeling he had, but now he had no doubt.
He wasn’t playing bait, the young watchdog knew where he was going. It would be a crime scene which should give them a clue, but as the young Earl turned his head he captured the demons gaze from the corner of his eyes -- what was he looking for? Unless, the demon had sensed something the young Earl had doubts about.
