I saw your tweet about the rights to immigrate to US according to Trump and I'm confused? You don't live in US? I'm just curious.

No, I do.   I can actually trace US familial residency history back about as long as a white person can (to the early 1600s - my grandfather was super into genealogy which bores me silly so, to be honest, I’ve never bothered to double check or confirm his research but assuming he was right...) 

A lot of natural born citizens are just pointing out that the criteria the Trump administration has proposed for immigration are so insanely strict that we wouldn’t be considered eligible.  “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free, just so long as they have a STEM degree and 1.35 million in foreign currency to invest.”  Yeah, that doesn’t quite work.

I try to keep politics off this blog but I hate this administration so much.

Hi! Am I right that you compared the rate of fics per day posted on FFN and AO3 in one of your stats? I'd swear that I've seen it somewhere, but have no idea where.

Thanks.  She’s still going.  I wonder if she plans to binge read EVERYTHING.  I kind of hope so because I’d like to see her get hysterical at some of the actual dark tomione or gin’n’tonic stuff. If she gets so bent out of shape over romances, what are psychological horror stories going to do to her.

Hi! Could you write your reasons for why you left AO3? I believe you used it some time ago. Thanks ;)

I specifically request people not download and save my fics without asking.  I’m hardly naive enough to think people won’t do what they want, but given my preferences it seems hypocritical to post on a site where the download feature is built in and cannot be turned off by the writer.

It’s also a pain to maintain stories on multiple platforms, and  I don’t see why I should bother tbh.

Hi, I don't want ito bother you but I thought you may want to know that in the 2nd chapter of the non-binary Buck fic they refer to themselves as he on 2 separate occasions - in the DMV and with the iron on patches. At leas I think so but English is my 2nd language and I'm quite tired. I don't think this was intentional.

Also - I loved the fic, the exploration and Eddie's reaction in the previous chapters. Your name is one that makes me thin "oh, this fic is gonna be good".

So when exactly is the tasting? I hope it goes well ;) Please tell us about the result - one could say it is our vital interest as readers :P (I made a mess of grammar in the last sentence I think, sorry)

It was today! And I THINK it went well, but there were a few hiccups because it was a really... nontraditional tasting. It was very oddly set up. Like, I rolled with it okay, but it was just not the way a tasting usually goes -- it was more like the final practical you’d take at a culinary school.

They have one more candidate coming to do it next week, and they’ll let me know how it turned out! I like them a lot, the only bad thing so far is they don’t cover relocation expenses (and they’re a big company so like, why not, damn it? They said they didn’t cover it at “my level” IT’S FOR AN EXECUTIVE CHEF POSITION WHAT GODDAMN LEVEL WOULD I HAVE TO BE AT?)
