OK just to clarify - part 3 of the pushing it down and praying series is 100% coming out YAY! YIPPEE! HURRAH!

HOWEVER, currently, I've got a lot on my plate rn, and I'm trying to find a good balance between my day to day life and writing fanfiction (and other).

PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR BEING POSSIBLY A WEEK LATE!! my normal plan is to post around every Sunday, but I haven't been able to do so and I'm SO sorry!! pls forgive me!! all your support is much appreciated and not forgotten about!!

oh my i haven't decided on what happens in part three (let alone if i'm actually doing a part three sob) but i just feel soo sympathetic for sukuna because he's just so emotionally constipated

Okay so i thought about it more than i should have, and i think im team angst. Even if he didn't sleep with anyone else (i mean, they arent in a relationship...) i still think reader is not thaaat into him. I think she likes that she knows shes special, with how shes aware that he talks about her, that he stares, that he's attached, but she doesn't actually have a connection with him iykwim? Maybe its bc i have the same attachment style but it seems like she was vulnerable with him once when she greened out so he was the "easy" option for those cravings of "i want to be wanted but i dont want anybody" kinda like she drives kuna crazy and seeing him so pathetic for her pleases her, but at the same time shes not trying to take responsibility for alladat lmfao. Im rambling tho lol, but ya even if other women werent involved, i dont see reader genuinely liking him, and i think from a writing standpoint that would be a lot more interesting to explore than the usual "aw hes emotionally constipated but reader forgives him and all is well in the end!" That also doesnt feel 'in universe' for the current storyline continuation. I quicker see her leading him on than actually being with him. She kissed him, but i think if he kissed her, she would have ran for the hills lol. I just think it makes a lot more sense for it to end in angst logically but at the end of the day, youre the writer, so write what makes you happy, not what you think people want to read! I just gave my opinion because you asked for it and i was invested so i went hard lol

to acknowledge what you've said - i 100% agree with the notes that you've made, bc like although i have NO IDEA how chapter 3 is gonna end, reading back on the previous two parts of the pushing it down and praying series, i've realised i've made the reader SO NONCHALANT - which is kind of terrible for sukuna, bc like he is SUCH a crashout canonically gulp

there is some care towards sukuna from the reader, but honestly, turning that affection into an obvious romantic attraction is gonna take some work - i just thoroughly enjoy tropes where the love is there, but as to what type of love it is remains a mystery.

Im gonna be honest, i agree with u. Reader cares for him but it doesn't really seem to be in the romantic sense. I feel like her kissing him was the same way kids are when they break their toys so nobody else can have it. And now this is diabolical and hear me out but.... i can see her getting with him, making his dreams come true for a night and then ghosting him or completely switching up to the point where sukuna feels like shes not even her. Bc reader alr obv has her hangups right? So when she finds out what hes been doing behind her back im sorry but i feel like her slippery ass would never actually form an attachment bc itll be in the back of her mind. She never the agressor in the situation, just the reactor (save for the kiss) like "show me who u are thru ur actions, let me see it" so to hear kuna has been fuckin around, .... yeah im sorry but i cant see them getting tgth lol. A leopard can't change its spots, only I dont mean that about sukuna. I mean it about her. (I love her btw, u 2 mwah)

i am SOOOOOO glad ppl are at least picking up on the fact that as nonchalant as the reader is, she still very much adores sukuna. despite it all there's still a very thick sense of care between them both, and a strong, firm friendship-

if he calls, reader will answer, and if reader calls, he'll pull up with the meanest rbf you've ever seen, but with her fave snacks in hand.

'I feel like her kissing him was the same way kids are when they break their toys so nobody else can have it.' is so FANTASTICALLY phrased like honestly you've outdone me, bc not only have you singlehandedly described what that kiss was like, you've also outlined my problem with the series - the problem being that the reader is so flipping complex that atp she's literally her own character.
