5-29-17. Dinner with family in Sturry. It should have been a 20 minute or so pinhole camera exposure, but I FORGOT AND LEFT THE APERTURE OPEN ALL NIGHT. So it was about a 12 hour exposure!

The shopping cart visited the New Castle Public Library yarn group last evening. We collected new stories and met more awesome women.
Last evening we took the cart to the University of Delaware where a knit /crochet club meets every week. Some of the members shared their knitting stories with us and added to the cart. While five students are shown here, the club attracts several dozen each week. Go yarn!
Today we brought our shopping cart to the patio by the Trabant Center on the University of Delaware campus today. Every day should be this beautiful!
Pinholes and video
In 2012 I posted a pinhole photo to this blog for every day of the year. That project ended, and I'm keeping up with more occasional posts related to my pinhole photography, but it's been a challenge since I'm teaching a month-long winter session class (in photo and video) at the University of Delaware. In such a compact form, teaching one class becomes a full-time job.
It may seem odd that my preferred media are on the one hand "old school" (pinhole, toy cameras, gum prints...) and on the other hand video. Most of my videos have nothing to do with pinhole photography, but a few do. This one is a short (1 minute) explanation of my pinhole diary project.
Last evening we brought the shopping cart and some knitting that we had started to the Residences at Christina Landing, where Barrel of Makers was having an event as part of the Wilmington Art Loop. We snagged a few people to knit with us while sharing stories of how they had learned to knit. Here is Carol with Jessica Taylor.
