Ice does not always look like ice. I think of the origin myth, of the time when ice could burn. In those days, people had powerful words that when spoken could transport the speaker - home and all - to places where they could settle and find food. The saying of the words brought the place into existence. I wondered what words might have the power to carry people to a place of safety today?

I have a WoF headcanon/theory that I could use some validation on.

“Aunty Nancy” is actually secretly Webster’s mom. Hear me out:

-She has a “grown son” but provides zero details

-My gut tells me her barely mentioned son is related to the assault she referenced that she experienced in her early career travels.

-Said son remains a secret because he was raised by someone else as she couldn’t manage to handle the trauma of raising the child of her attacker

-“We’re too much alike, Aunty Nancy”

Thoughts? 🤔

YES YES YES!!!!!!! i think it was confirmed in episode 7 (although its been a while since i rewatched so i need to double check), im not sure whether webster is aware of it but nancy does know. i think it's her sister that raised him as her own, so randy isn't actually his brother but his cousin.

(if i misremembered and this isnt right @thismoleculeisacomedian will definitely know!! i love this as a theory if it isnt actually the case)
