Jennifer Aniston Heartbroken at the Death of Her Estranged Mother, Nancy Dow
Jennifer Aniston seemingly has come to terms with her controversial and difficult relationship with her mother, Nancy Dow. Aniston announced the death of her estranged mother last Wednesday night. It is said that Dow died two weeks after she and her daughter had their first reunion in five years.
Dow, 79, was known to be suffering from an unknown illness. According to reports, the mother-of-two and a former model underwent a series of strokes in 2011 and had even lost her ability to speak and walk.
Her estranged mother’s condition deteriorated and was rushed to the hospital. In an exclusive report by RadarOnline, a neighbor who resides in the same Dow’s cramped apartment said that four paramedics rushed to her unit and brought her to the hospital. The actress was in a critical condition and was apparently close to death.
Another source said that Dow’s hands were curled up to her face and she looked very pale. She was wheeled out of her unit around 1:30 a.m. and her apartment’s lights were on. The door was also wide open on Monday morning.
It has been known in public that the two has conflict and Jennifer Aniston has previously insisted that she was never that close to her “unforgiving” mother because Dow was critical of her. The Friends actress said that her late mother was too critical of her because Dow was a gorgeous and stunning model while Aniston never was, as noted in People Magazine.
The feud reportedly ratcheted up after Nance Dow published a book about her daughter’s life in 1999 which is entitled, From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir.
A source close to the family shared that no matter how complicated and difficult the relationship between Jennifer Aniston and Nancy Dow might have been, it was heartbreaking for any daughter to lose her mother. Dow fought a very long battle, with many hurdles, and Anniston was grateful for the great times they shared.
Despite the reported feud, Jennifer Aniston has been pulling close to her husband, Justin Theroux, and family and felt their support and love. Aniston and her late mother has apparently put an end to the issue.
